Soul - dive right in!

Tiamo - I have a secret squirrel silver ring I wear that is handy to identify deeply closeted geeks and fanboys/fangirls in the business world. It's a sterling silver LOTR ring I picked up at Wondercon in LA earlier this year. People notice it and ask "what language is that and what does it say"? When I tell them "it says "One Ring To Rule Them All..." in Elvish you know you've met a fellow traveler when their eyes light up.

Wait, one more thing. This page needs a few more pics.

I should get myself a better ring, I bet this particular one is not going to last. Or maybe the Evenstar necklace!

Peeking in... I've shredded, bagged, hauled out all the trash and recycling full for tomorrow. Then I got needles and cupping whole Doc showed me how to use the kit I bought. He yelled at me for MacGyvering as much as I have on packing but I've not gotten hurt and I've not had much help.

I landed home at 4 after errands and I'm now toast. Time for some food, meds, a hot shower stretch and a hard crash. PT is tomorrow but she will be happy. I got majorly needles today and it helped.

Missed questions - I'm better at changing clothes in the parking lot at Ren Fest then being a hoarder or not.

Thread wise... I'm more comfortable being party of a group with discussions that include everyone. The threads where it's all about a couple people getting their attention ho on isn't anywhere I care to hang out. But then some days I'm just grateful for the people here who do speak to me in a nice way. When I first came to Lit there used to be a carry over from the GB and there were packs of people who felt like it was ok to verbally abuse and stalk others. I almost left here completely except for a military friend who stopped anyone messing with me. I'm still not overly social on here due to that but I'm getting better.

You poor thing! I don't even know how to respond except with hugs. I'm kinda curious what you mean by needles and cupping though...

A big Kudos to the person who pointed out that my photo was taken with the ring upside down!! Reminds me of the time I wore a small costume piece upside down and someone pointed it out.

Some very good responses today folks.

So after my eight hours, I was drafted for the honey do list (married men say Amen) and I have finally made it home and showered.

Evening lonelygrl, Ashes and Azul! And thanks for the link tnman. I am fortunate to have a pain-free life up to now, so I probably won't do any alternative medicine at this time. I will gladly continue to get massage therapy once a month though. I also love to give it!

I want to vote Van Jones for President. Omg.

Good morning everyone.

I was gifted with a new phone yesterday, but am having frustrations because I lost my contacts. Do you think technology is getting more complicated? Do you find yourself more dependent on technology than you were years ago?

Did you not back up your contacts from your old phone with your google/icloud account?

Everyone looks at technology as a great thing, it makes us weaker. We overeat, don't know how to produce our own food, don't drink water, take too many medications, destroying the trees, oceans, rivers, soil and our protecting from the sun. Look at us, we have a black out and everyone is in panic, forget that without our phones were all on panic, you have people 500lbs plus using a wheelchair getting fatter smh. Technology makes us weaker and dependant on companies who supply energy, food(which has pesticides and estrogen in them) and technology.

A tech savvy teenager can transfer contacts blazingly fast. Me? I have to think it through every time. I loved the SIM cards that would go from phone to phone but new phones are getting away from them.

Morning folks

No doubt Technology is flying by. I was talking to a client yesterday that I have more computing power in my smartphone than what we has to get to the moon. But since I make my living on dealing with said technology, I can't complain. So glad geeks can rule something!! :)
