You are exactly right next day off work is Columbus day ... Not sure of plans yet ... Depends what the kiddo wants to do when he wakes up

I've yet to meet a young child that didn't love the zoo or going to the park with their Mom. I'm sure he's just happy being with his Mom.

Mine know their job duties. It's life skills that seem to be missing. Like asking less than 36 hours before your supposed to be rolling if they can come get their gear that morning.

LOL...it's the nature of late teen to early twenties to be as indifferent to rules and reality as they can get away with. Some of that's a Millennials thing even though Basic Training knocks some of that frivolity out of them. You've just got to learn to use the right level of leadership skills to motivate them. The carrot and stick doesn't work so well but leadership by example, being firm but not angry and listening does.

MMW - glad you had a great weekend.

It's been kinda strange here - not sure what is going on, the vibe in the house Is crazy. Thought I would only be home for 2 weeks - well now it will be awhile - on my way from GA to TX got a call - I was being laid-off till possibly after the 1st of the year!! Gotta make a run back to GA to grab the RV and bring it home. Then will work on the house vibe - - may just kick everyone out.
