Loving the new PT. Everything that made me a fruit-loop at regular old school PT places makes me advanced here. Cupping was cool here way before Michael Phelps in the pool during the Olympics. They are using the tape is a different location. Right now I have a huge X on my back between my shoulder blades. So glad she didn't use red or I'd feel like more of a target then lime green. next time we will use both colors so it's more art like. But it's working! I made it just about 2 hours before I had to just give it up as the muscles shifted.
She looks at it this way. For 5 years I had that broken collar bone up in my left shoulder area and we didn't know it. That's 5 years I have walked around using a broken arm / shoulder and way I could get it to function. Now that it's fixed we need to train the muscles to hold it in place and train me how to use a normal shoulder. How freaking simple is that??? and she isn't having me do anything hard but it's sure kicking my butt big time.
So I know it's working.
Also had a text from one of my bosses at my Congressman's office checking on me. Had to tell him nothing has changed on the housing stuff. just me trying to sort, dump, sell & pack.

Now that sounds really nice... I could use a day like that... a week or even a month!!!
Had my plans slightly derailed. I got in a new Veteran for my Honor Flight calls last minute.
So I switched to that first today. Then it's packing up all the game systems.

Had my plans slightly derailed. I got in a new Veteran for my Honor Flight calls last minute.
So I switched to that first today. Then it's packing up all the game systems.
That sounds like it's shaping up to be a busy day. I've been on a crazy work project for the last two months, so this is only the second actual weekend I've had in a while. I've still got a couple of hours of work to do, but I'll be able to spread it over the weekend so the impact will be small.

I miss those days when it was work related craziness.
My year has really been full of suckage at high levels.
pre surgery, post surgery, getting ready to move & tossing half my life out.
It's made it really very clear my friends are basically here on Lit.

Morning everyone ... I survived the first week back to teaching ... And between yesterday after work and this morning, i conquered getting groceries for the month and getting almost all the laundry done ... I'm also finished with my Christmas shopping!!

Sometimes the amount of suckage gets insane, when I've gone through those times I've made it by just keeping moving forward, one step at a time. I was a boxer in my younger years and one of the key life lessons I learned out of that (LOL - besides knowing how to get punched) was the single adage to "fight your way out of trouble". Just keep going.

Y'all need to stop over achieving dammit. I am feeling guilty for sitting here, prowling the internet, listening to the history channel, and drinking coffee. Not guilty enough to actually do anything though.

Lol, I've always been an over achiever and it's only gotten worse as a single mom
Between teaching middle school and having a 3 year old and having a boyfriend who goes to college full time and works 3rd shift, there's not much spare time or help

Exactly ... Like my friends who are married and always have time to have their own life, they never quite grasp that i have zero time for my own life ... It's always something for someone else

Her first day home she was a bit wild, a little less so yesterday and today she's kind of clingy. Overall I can tell she's doing ok but isn't her normal rowdy self. One thing for sure this is the most self determined cat I've ever owned, thank goodness she's not willfully mean. She also doesn't like taking her medicine so I've learned to bribe her with treats.

It's miserable here again today. Even with the ac on, I crashed out in the floor for a nap. Little dog with me, big dog hanging off the couch above us, lol. I had a big fan on all of us!
