My weekend getaway was so fun...omg San Antonio is awesome. The hotel was really cool and my fiance and I walked around at 3am taking pics but alas....I haven't seen any ghostly images or activity. The Alamo was cool, the sites the double decker bus ride...but it was so hot lol. The horse and carriages were cool...lots of pics of that place and then the drive thru safari we went to on the way home.

I had a couple rough days but I worked through them. Besides last weekend all my days were greeaat.

You're right...the Alamo is totally in the middle of it all downtown, where no cars drive in front of it. lol I kinda expected that since I've looked into it for a couple months now when making my plans. We stayed at the Menger Hotel which is right across the street from the Alamo (on it's side)...and I thought we'd have a clear view of the front. Nope. Big wall and we couldn't see anything lol. But it was still cool to watch the people and horses out the window.
The rest of the downtown area was fun...and the riverwalk is beautiful. I can't wait to go again and do what we didn't get a chance to do.

I see you had a great weekend as well. I'm so happy you have your time with CJ and that it's amazing for you. I hope to hear some details, especially if you got the chance at what was supposed to happen for you.

Trying to enjoy what is left of summer....although the weather doesn't change much here in the winter anyway. I just hope I don't have to run my air conditioner again this winter.

It's been something. Interesting, new, different, a learning experience, all better ways than good to discribe it. Not that there haven't been ups, just not exactly the way I thought it would go.
