That bites. I'm driving 4 hours of driving total to get where I'm working and back for whats probably 3 hours of work max.
 
Hmm? It looks like its time for a new pot of coffee, I'll take care of that now and set up some water and the fixings for tea as well.

It's a foggy overcast day here at the moment but looks like it might clear up for a while. I hope so, I want to get a walk in and run some errands.

LOL...I just realized that Oreo loves bird calls. She's been siting at he window and looking outside a lot and not unexpectedly is fascinated by birds, squirrels and insects. So Wednesday I did some birdcalls and she loved it. Today sine is drizzly outside here's not a lot to see so she's very bored. While she wasn't looking at me I did more bird calls. She literally went nuts trying to figure out where they were coming from. Once she did she came over to my chair, jumped up, rubbed her head on my hand and arm and then bit me. How ungrateful...:rolleyes:

I like running errands when the weather is crummy. Fewer people in the stores.

I came home and she's MIA, so I am taking that as a good sign because yesterday she didn't even have strength enough to stand. I just got my house work done and am going to go out and search for her again in a bit. I was hoping she'd make friends with my other rescue and they could be buddies, but Agatha doesn't much like my new little Princess. Yet, anyway.

That little bugger is such a princess though! She wouldn't eat out of the can, she wanted it off my fingers. And soft cat food is so gross, but I did it.

Yeah, I understand, I had to hand feed Oreo at first because she was so undersized.
 
Hello all, just sitting here getting an oil change.

I am utterly intoxicated with life today! The weather for one is absolutely perfect! Why I am sitting in here I do not know, but at least they have massage chairs. I am addicted to them.
 
Speaking of bird calls, one year I was determined to become a bird expert. Like an amateur onithologist or I guess just an amateur birdwatcher. I memorized their habitats and how to identify them. I had an app on my phone that could do the bird calls. One time I was walking near dusk and I said this is the perfect habitat for this type of bird, but they do get aggressive when disturbed. Some sort of sparrow, what harm could they be? So I played the bird call from my phone and immediately got attacked from said bird, flying out of the bushes in a frenzy.

That was the end of my amateur bird study.

I think I'll become a wildflower expert next spring.
 
Only someone with the passion to get in to something as much as you do could have that happen.
 
I never been to an oil change place where they had massage chairs. I think they only put them in around her.
