Heya Jason! Awwww I'm glad you're enjoying your summer as well...I finally started getting outside a bit more and keeping away from the computer a bit more. Trying to enjoy what is left of summer....although the weather doesn't change much here in the winter anyway. I just hope I don't have to run my air conditioner again this winter.

How are the rapids treating you?

Outside is good. You should enjoy the outside as much as possible. I ran my air a few times this past winter. I'd rather do that than run my heat. I hate the cold.

The rapids have been treating me. Sometimes nicely, sometimes they slap me around. Back in June I got slapped around pretty good. This past Sunday I took one beat down but rolled up pretty quickly. (Note to self, don't try taking M-Wave sideways again)

I"m alright. I"m at peace with it after a long late night discussion with her. We sat and talked about what went wrong and where we could have MAYBE been able to try to do different things to make sure it didnt' happen to us in the future. I'm damn lucky to have my ex still be my best friend.

Not sure I can keep up with all the "new" or long-time no see folks popping in today! I'll try to respond to some stuff though. Seems we got a great, interesting mix of people going so far here at the Spacebar.

My weekend getaway was so fun...omg San Antonio is awesome. The hotel was really cool and my fiance and I walked around at 3am taking pics but alas....I haven't seen any ghostly images or activity. The Alamo was cool, the sites the double decker bus ride...but it was so hot lol. The horse and carriages were cool...lots of pics of that place and then the drive thru safari we went to on the way home.

Good to see you Shelby! Glad you got to have a fun little getaway as well! I've never been there before. One of my best friends is from San Antonio though.

Okay, suppers been cooked, eaten, left overs put away and the dishwashers loaded and running. I've even got a load of clothes going in the washer. While all that might sound productive it really wasn't all that much. But I did get about a 6.5 mile walk in today after the morning rain storms passed through.

What's everyone else been up to today?

I had a busy day, but ended up just shopping a little. You know me, I'll get most of my activity in very soon. I logged 6k last night with tnman!

I took a sleep aide and took a 3 hr nap. I've done some writing. Chatted with CJ on Skype. Been messing on here. Chatted with Azul and Wolf man on Skype. Took some pictures.

I saw some kayakers over the past week and really wanted to get one for myself. I would be too chicken to go down rapids though, maybe when I was younger and more wild, but now I just want to do some lakes and lazy rivers. I am enjoying the outside as much as I can though!

I'm sure. I've had more then my fair share of life's upheavals, it always gets better if you take off the blinders and decide being miserable or around miserable people isn't any way to live. A little optimism is contagious and being upbeat about life will take a person in a good direction.

It's funny, cause 90% of the time, she's still my best friend. So it's a net positive to be comfortable moving on. I was relationship blind to some of out problems and so was she.
