Afternoon loves! Hope this week has been flying by for everyone. It's been interesting here. Mom's in until tomorrow, wants the brat & me to go back for a visit. However, I see my surgeon tomorrow & it all depends on what he says. *Please let me get a shrinker & start the prosthetic process* lol I got all my records sent to the lawyer yesterday so I'm curious to hear from him as well. I'm within a few hours of closing my last work project for the year and with it closing the year itself. It was a challenging one on both the personal and professional levels but at the end of it I'm still here and still smiling so I'll call it a good year! (LOL that's the eternal optimist in me.)

So, back to the doctor today.....Come back in two weeks. Sonofabitch! He did release me to go back to work. My hr Dept wouldn't take the note however because it said I could return to full duty on 1/3/16..... Fuck me.

I hope it went smooth there in your world. It was heavy on the stupid here 7 my Fire Rescue guys were out on calls all night. 2 were car wrecks.

I've got my internet access back & working on the laptop finally. Only half unpacked. Been having to go slow due the shoulder still. I see the ortho Tuesday. it's been 10 months & my eval last Thursday was mixed. I'm stronger in some ways but still weak & have issues in the rotator cuff & torn bicep area. The PT thinks it's the moving, packing & unpacking stuff but I've been really careful and had very little help at all.

The old landlords painted over the mold and moved in new renters yesterday. I'm talking to my city friends tomorrow. To see what should be done since nothing is up to code on my side.

It's off to a nice rolling start in my part of this little old universe. Spent New Years with friends down in Big Bear (outside of LA) and now home to the comfort and warmth as it's a wee bit cold here in this part of California.

Hey all how's everyone doing here? I've had to deal with some family drama and the occasional rounds of bad news and nonsense life often brings our way. It's just what it is so aside from that its been the usual round of stomach bugs and colds. As much as I love living in a place where there's actually four separate seasons I'm not a great winter lover. I'm already ready for spring.
