Coffee is always a good way to start the day for me.

The Hotel Del Coronado is a nice place, stayed there several times - most recently for a friends wedding. Not my favorite place in San Diego though - for sheer creature comfort I like the Marriott Resort there on Coronado.

We're looking at a hot day here in this part of California, so I am standing by to hit the on button for the air conditioner at the slightest provocation!

It was a work conference for Microsoft so I was lucky to be there. After that first year they made us go to Vegas and the Hard Rock which is pretty much like every Hard Rock out there. I've never gotten to go to any place like that not work related. Now that I'm Gimpi Girl I'm pretty sure it's out of the whole deck of cards.

Hot day here too but no AC to push on. Slowly getting stuff packed and sorted or recycled and dumped. Did a small run for some food and met a very cool lady while shopping at Walmart. She volunteers with autistic kids. I volunteer with veterans so she has my card now cause she'd like to work with them too.

Today is day one of my two long days.

I did get a chance to check on Shelby yesterday and she's good.
