Hey everyone I miss you all....
<sigh> the net is finally back up here at the house so I can catch up on the laptop.
not sure how long this will stay up. So far only 2 days in a row. So glad I am not paying for this. I have tethering starting next month so when work for Honor Flight finally starts I am not off line. I need access to the net by laptop to get my spreadsheets and flip out emails around calls to my old timers.

Ten luxurious days of vacation under the belt and I feel human again. I didn't go anywhere (living in California you really don't have to go anywhere to get nice weather and beautiful things to see and do).

Sometimes in this world we just need to stop, take a step back, savor the silence and breath. Then, we're ready to leap back into the beautiful fray.

Hope everyone is starting (or partway into) a good Friday. It's raining cats and dogs here in California. The neighborhood runners looked like it was a miserable day to be running. That is how you get to know the dedicated runners here - fair or foul they're out and putting in the miles.

What are you dedicated to that the weather won't deter you?

Been a weird week here. Had to kick a little butt to get a new set of xrays and then a new MRI is set for next Thursday. Something extremely high end and fancy called a 3T MRI. So they apparently saw something in the x-rays.

Net is still down here but the tethering should be starting soon.

Hi Starry - hopefully the 3T will give them some insight that they'll be able to work into your treatment plan. The pace of medical technology is pretty impressive - but still too slow when you're the patient!

It's a bit overcast here but that's not unusual for this time of year. I attended a blacksmithing class yesterday and got to make stuff so that was a fun day for me. Last nights Super Bowl game lasted until the beginning of the 4th quarter for me at which point I fell asleep. But I will say that Lady Gaga put on a fantastic half time show and really impressed me.
