I am on ebay looking for wrestling singlets for my dudes. I came across This Ad and This Ad

It looks disturbing because this was right during High School Wrestling Finals time. I then clicked this link from his item description. And then went to this link to collages. This person is obviously taking pictures of young men in singlets and it looks like some of these boys are at least high school aged. Some might be younger, some probably over 18. I can guarantee you this person does not have the permission of all these boys to be selling pictures of them.

What is more disturbing is that this dude is from Yakima, which is in the same state as me and we go to wrestling tournaments over there. I am thoroughly creeped out and don't know what to do.

I reported it to Ebay and am going to bring it to the attention of our wrestling community, but what else? If you look at all the items this person is selling...you will get the creeps...at least I did.

I'm serious! It's a lot to look at to form an opinion, but I need help.

If you've already reported it to Ebay then you should make sure that you take some screenshots right away to take to the wrestling foundation, just in case Ebay's pulled the adds by then.

If this person has matside access then they can probably figure out who it is and if he really doesn't have persmission from all the boys to sell their images(which, like you said he probably doesn't) then I'm sure he could be in a lot of trouble.

And not all of those boys were 18. No way.

Also, he sure looks like a perv to me. I sure wouldn't want him photographing my kid!

That's gonna be a tough one. I know here for local sports they give permission to the school for certain things... While on it's face it is VERY VERY sketch and questionable, if this is a legit business, you could be messing with someone's completely innocent lively hood. It's all about how the DVD's are marketed and sold, and really how they are shot. I'll admit it is tough.. very tough.. but I would do what you are doing and let someone know..

and for the record, again, sketchy very very sketchy.

I have wrestling shots of my son, done by someone who shot them for the team, at the meets and when they went to tournament. The shots were nothing like these! He got good pin down shots and holds, but these are nothing but ass and cock shots!

Did you look at some of the other photos he's hawking? There is one with a kid with his legs spread open while he's doing sit ups. Doesn't look very innocent to me.

I just looked at the ebay ad's.

Like I said.. it's very very sketch..

I did some screen shots. I sent the info to some local wrestling people, too. I'm glad it's not just me....

And a lot of those boys aren't 18. I looked a bit closer and those are High School teams.

True dat. And your AV absolutely rocks. I'm borrowing it for future use.

I just heard from someone that they have reported them before & they have been trying to figure out who he is. His ebay account was created Dec of 07 so this is obviously not his first account. His photo account is from Jan 22, 2008. I think I am going to report this to the police and see what they can do.

And as for the av, thank you very much. :curtsy::D

They won't do shit until one of these boys is found with his shit ripped open and laying in a ditch. Sorry about not mincing words but hey, keep an eye on the evening news.

Hmmm, maybe you should make note of the people who've purchased stuff from him...one of them should have his address.

Either that or you or somebody from the wrestling foundation to buy a CD from him.

He probably uses Mailboxes Etc.

Perhaps that's why they're still looking for him.

Good ideas!

I'd also start letting the parents know on the teams you are familiar with so some can see if any of their kids are in these pics.

A different way to spin it is that guy is using a persons image for his profit.

Did they sign a waiver?

Since it's on school property have the schools' lawyers been notified

Even though the students with college (wrestling) ambitions can't collect a dime, there's a possibility that the parents or guardians can intervene to keep this guy from making money and getting any potential "perv" on.

smart guy ;)

Well, he claims to actually know these kids. So who knows.

Written and signed waiver. Any verbal contract with a minor is almost always considered worthless. In most states a minor isn't considered to have the mental faculty to enter into a binding agreement or release of rights without parental approval.
