I have been here a few years....a place to come, for me, just to talk or post on a thread. I have made friends here (I know, hard to believe for those on the GB). I don't find the desire to participate in the sexual discussions...here or the pg. Just my preference.

It is ok if you are being critical or judging my reasons. I use to offer very little in opinion...and I am sure most wish I would not. My life is such that I choose not to play at being a follower of Christ any longer.....and I only share my opinions. I promise I will not be hunting anyone down nor badgering them into believing as I do.

These are just my opinions in words on a page......no power over anyone.

To each his/her own. I have a hard time understaning why people come to a sex site to chat about other subjects besides sex, but after being on the gb, I sense that you aren't the only one.

They may be different to what you believe, but I have never wavered in my total adherence to the values, morals and ethics I personally believe to be true.

Case in point -
On New Years Eve, I attended the funeral of a friend.
But because of my aversion to ever setting foot in a church, I did not sit in the congregation.
I stood outside, on the footpath off the church grounds, and paid my respects in my own way.
Nor have I taken part in the several weddings of friends which have been church-based services over the years..... I have always stayed completely off the church grounds during that part of the celebration.
I promised myself I would never again step inside a church many years ago, and I have stayed completely true to that.

If you make the commitment to something..... regardless of what it is...... you should be prepared to carry it through.
