I think a lot of American society has changed since 1776, through America's times we have associated alot of things considered to be manly or feminist.

When you look at now the male and female roles in society, specifically relationship wise. How has the stereotypes changed (if they even have) on what roles men and women have taken in relationships? Is it considered the man should still know everything technical like fixing leaky pipes, changing the oil in the car , etc? and the female should stick to the domestic issues like dealing with the kids emotionally, cleaning, etc? Or is it accepted for men to be more feminized and women to be more independent?

What characteristics (role wise) do you or have looked to in your significant others?

This is a theme assignment you came up with for school, right? :p

I think and like in my relationships for I guess for man to be more feminized and I to be more independent. I am very independent. I supported the last two men I was with. I think to each is own though.
