So why did a right wing incel do it?

And a working drain system.
Hopefully it drains right into yours from above…then it would be useful. But since I’m not going anywhere near where you are headed as a self proclaimed ass….. I’m sure we can arrange for it to be piped in for you.

Trust me, you won't ever have the top bunk.

Desperate for attention and wanted to be famous.

Kind of like that pissant who tried to join my wager and make me leave Lit forever. 🤣

Sounding more like an anarchist at this point.
Interesting. Shooter had a "public" cell phone and a "burner" cell phone, just like them double-naught spies carry.

The burner phone contained 27 contacts. Anyone want to hazard a guess on which Literotica wingnut is amongst those 27? Might be time for Wat_Tyler to oil up his shootin' irons and dustoff his bulletproof vest (with matching codpiece).

I don't get the father just letting his son take off with the AR.

Your son already looks like a school shooter, you think it is a good idea to let him have the AR?

he said he believed he was going to the shooting range
i don't know if he realised the son had the father's weapon or not.

all the reposts state the ladder he purchased a few days before was 5' and NOT used to get up on the roof
yep, I was just here to change my post. I saw a pic of the ladder leaning against the building and it had more rungs than a five foot ladder so... and some reports say he didn't use a ladder.

The ladder pic was of a 10 footer. Hint: count the rungs/steps. That's how you tell.

How convenient. A ladder just sitting there. No one thinks that could be a problem.

Sounds more and more like a staged event.

Roughly 30 minutes after the initial suspicious person report, Pennsylvania State Police notified the Secret Service of a suspicious person at 5:51 p.m. The Secret Service notified its snipers at 5:53 p.m., the sources said.

At 6:02 p.m., Trump took the stage. At 6:09 p.m., members of the crowd notified police that Crooks, 20, was on a rooftop. Two minutes later, Crooks opened fire on Trump at 6:11 p.m.

looks like that may have been placed there after the fact to enable other officials' access to the roof
Upon Trump's arrival ahead of the rally at the Butler Farm Show, a call went out about a "suspicious male" near a building of a glass research company, prompting officers to conduct a search, Butler Township Manager Tom Knights said in a statement, adding that its police were tasked with traffic control ahead of the motorcade's arrival.

A search around the building yielded no results, and there was no ladder in sight, but a Butler Township police officer, with the help of another officer, began pulling himself up to the roof, Knights said.

How did the “shooter” get on the roof if he didn’t use a ladder?

i don't know if he accessed the building first, but i have seen multiple reports on various main news channels that he accessed the rooftop by climbing up on an air con unit

There was a large air conditioning compressor on one side of the building. Some reports say the first sheriff's deputy climbed atop the compressor and pulled himself up onto the roof, but sniper-boi heard him and turned his rifke towards the deputy. The deputy decided his life was more important than a convicted felon and opted to drop "13 feet to the ground".

Assuming the AC compressor was five feet max and the deputy was maybe a bit over seven feet in length with his arms measured above his head, it meant the deputy had to jump a foot or so into the air to grab the edge of the roof. Not impossible for anyone in fairly decent shape.

Also, everyone is assuming a five foot stepladder. Home Depot has a super cheap extension ladder that telescopes from 5 feet up to 8.5 feet for $155 dollars.

The question remains how does a guy smuggle a ladder, a rangefinder and a loaded rifle into a political rally?

The obvious answer is that Seal Team 6 was "re-badged" as Secret Service agents as a result of the newly-minted "right" conferred upon the President of unlimited immunity. They were given direct orders from the Oval Office to "stand down and shut up" with direct orders not to open fire until the sniper fired first. Rules of Engagement, don'tcha know.

I wonder how much the shooter's dad was compensated for offering up his son as a political sacrifice? Everyone knows that every libertarian has a price (free markets over all, and all that rot), especially when libertarian dad didn't have to risk his own life.

obligatory caveat for teh n00bs: /s

I’d like to think that if Joe Biden was going to have Trump whacked, he would have insisted on a better shooter than a guy who was kicked off the rifle team for being such a bad shot.

I still think this was a staged event. Maybe the “shooter” didn’t even fire his rifle. Did they recover any bullets or shell casings that match his rifle?

Good god, now they are saying the posting on Steam is probably fake? Who the hell are these investigators and how old are they?
