Since losing your virginity, what's the longest you've gone without sex?

(If you haven't lost your virginity, don't answer the question! )

And for the purposes of this poll (my poll, my rules ) virginity is whatever you consider 'making love' for the first time, in order to include people of all sexual orientations.

The first time for me was not "making love"...It was dry, painful, quick teenage sex...it was not at all like the happy hooker said it was sposed to be like!! So I waited 3 years til I was 18 to try it again...twice with my 21 yr old b/f who didn't have a clue as to what to do....*yawwnnn*...so I waited another year before someone and I clicked enough to actually orgasm and have fun!

Six Months!!!

When I was pregnant with my daughter. Had absolutely NO sex drive.

Now.. when I was pregnant with my son...that's another story. Let's just say I made up for those lost six months

Considering I was in the Marine Corps for 8 years and occasionally indisposed (couldn't find a woman on board the Carrier)I had to abstain for 3-4 months. Although I heard I could find someone of my own sex who would take care of my problem but wasn't interested in that

Since I didn't lose my virginity until I got married, the longest I had to go without sex after that was the length of time it was off-limits because of childbirth.
