Hang on. The banana's ringing.

Shanglan, it's Cardinal Richelieu, for you. He says you borrowed his best cope as a saddle blanket and never returned it.

I imagine it looks better on you.

Richy never did look half the figure in it that I do. I refer him to the letter from Akira to the Eyptians (Akira 3:12) - "Thou shalt not covet thy horse's wardrobe, nor the goods or chattels of thy horse, nor thy alcohol that the horse happeneth to drink with its friends while thou remainest out of town for the weekend, and lo, the horse walketh thy dog for thee."

y'know, since I've been trotting around in this particular Elysian field, I have had the most astounding assortment of substances in my nostrils without warning. Primarily it's been coffee, since that's my beverage of choice. But the list includes V-8 (can't recommend that), various fruit juices, Guinness, herbal tea, and now, thanks to you, egg drop soup.

Friedrich Nietzsche once said, "My genius is in my nostrils."
My personal genius may be elsewhere, (I have acquaintances who might gleefully suggest some locations) but my various sinuses contain some of your genius, that's for sure.

I'm moving on to the cashew chicken now, so have some mercy. Mm. Hey, this tastes like a missionary I met once in Guam.

scored with the cashews - yes! :D

It's becoming clear that we need a little more strict religious teaching around here, based on the behavior I'm seeing.

When I'm troubled, I often turn to the Scriptures. This passage from Ephesians always restores my faith:

I'm going to teach you a little bit about Super Saiyans, starting with the basics. What you see now is my normal form. This is a Super Saiyan and this is what's known as a Super Saiyan who has ascended past a Super Saiyan, or you could call it Super Saiyan 2... and this...IS TO GO EVEN FURTHER BEYOND!!!! (Powering up to Super Saiyan 3) I'm sorry this took some much longer then the others, I haven't had much occasion to practice this one. This is what I call a Super Saiyan 3.

-Ephesians, Episode 4, 2 minutes after first commercial break

And I would reply with Zero Wing 2:11 - "Somebody set up us the bomb."

The capital of Guam is Guano.

It's not misnamed.

And enough with the PERSIANS all ready. They were just ASSYRIANS with even bigger delusions of grandeur.

Is Guam in the continent of Guavamerica, or am I thinking of Guantanamo?

(Hurrah for the egg drop soup and cashews. :D I've laughed out loud more often reading this thread then I have in the last month.)

No, it's Guacamole

No, it looks like guacamole, but it's not.

(I'm so very sorry. I just couldn't resist. Please forgive me. I have an Idaho joke if you're desperate. A knock-knock one too.)

Guacavaca, as opposed to Cuernavaca, where Jose Cuervo lives.

Look, Wikipedia clearly states that Cuervo was worshiped in Chichen Itza - the capital of the ancient continent of Atlantis.
