You have me stumped, if I post in any thread then I get notified by the CP of any updates. I can see no reason why this does not happen to you?

OK GOT IT!

Click on User CP within there you will see on the left hand column Edit Options

Within there you have a box which says Messaging and Notification and within that box is an option Default Tread Subscription Mode

If the selection is set to Do not subscribe then change it to No email notification
