Just want to know what the women think of short men? I am only 5'5 but built similar to Scott Caan. Come on women be honest even it hurts my feelings.

Well you are taller then me. I like someone for the inside, looks and all that do not matter to me.

How many times do you men have to be told? Size is not important :D :D

I am not a skinny girl... so...I either prefer a guy about my height who is built like me... or a guy who is taller.

I don't like feeling like the bigger one in the relationship. I like a guy who makes me feel protected (even if that is stereotypical and somewhat cliche).

I tend not to look at short men the same as taller ones - but I'm 5'11" and I'd hate to have to kink my neck to kiss someone. I like my men to be taller than me, or at least within a couple of inches.

Bingo. Me too.

Physical height is BS, better to be a physical midget and have a gigantic soul than be the tallest man on earth and have no soul at all.

What you say is true to an extent - and of course, those who appreciate height in a man aren't looking solely for that. But, all that having been said, I find my eye travels at a certain height when looking at men - and it's generally at about the 6 ft range. Not that I'd exclude a shorter man, if I found one who interested me, but for that initial attraction stage, height definitely appeals to me.

That about sums up my feelings too.

I do like a tall man, what can I say? But I have never turned down a man who asked me out simply on the basis of him not being tall enough. Actually now thinking back on it, I've dated (and had some substantial relationships with) men I would not describe as being tall.

Mr Keen is 6'1" and I admit one of the things I first found attractive about him was that physically he was 'my type' - tall, blond, blue eyed. Mind you, I knew him for a year before we even began dating, and dated for six months before we slept together (which is a heck of a long time for a tramp like me, I tell you) so it was clearly his personality and his wonderful human being-ness that really won me over. Had he been six inches shorter, I daresay he still would have gotten the girl :)

Do you still measure them vertically after that? ;)

If I tell you the truth, it'll put lie to all those fantasies that size doesn't matter. :D

Haha, so you are comfortable with anything between micro-penis and horse cock? ;)

Vertically I like my men somewhere between 6-6 1/2 ft. When horizontal, I like my men to be vertically between 6-8 inches. :)

I've never regretted being 6'1 every day of my life....there has to be some advantage of being short, but I am not aware of it.

Thats a fair point you've made and for my part I like my women to look a certain way too, I can't change the way others feel about my height but I "can" change the way I feel about my height and when you feel good about yourself then the world doesn't stand a chance against you.

LOL, it's the tall poppies that get cut down first.
