This painting was created when I was very depressed...and it came out so beautifully that it brightened my spirits. I hang this one in my room to remind me of my gifts.

It's called "Spirit."

This brought back a wonderful childhood memory! My throat tightened and tears filled my eyes, Shin!

Very nice - that would be "Big Blue." Yes, definitely shoot with cameras, lenses (short or long), film - landscapes and/or model where the model is hopefully willing to get naked. Of course that brings us back to the original question. Any of you beautiful women out there willing to volunteer? Get into groups of two please.

First of all, quite seriously, have you considered a calendar? It's an excellent way to test the publication waters - a short run of well displayed 12 pieces.

Second, an artists life is a lonely one - that is why they paint fruit and their wives, not necesserally in that preferential order, or maybe it is.

Wow.. Shingen I just found your thread.... You do such beautiful and inspiring work - I love the abstract angel series.... and I love the Asian influence and your choice of characters to use for each painting

you and cocktail have inspired me to get back to work on my arty thread.... and to also put up more of Gusty's Gongbi paintings there.

p.s. to Just Pet... Xin Gan actually means Sexy rather than sweetheart in Mandarin.... and it sure does seems than Shingen is a pretty sexy man as well as being an incredible artist
