This one is inspired from my upcoming poetry book tentaively titled, "March and the Libra Woman." There's a character called March, as in the name March not the month.

This next painting was one of the first I've ever painted, finished in my first semester of a painting class. I painted it in oils, which I rarely use now. Anyway, it's titled "Bentenrai" and it's one of 2 cubist style paintings I've ever done...

WOW - FUCKING WOW! :rose:

This painting is from my older Poetry series. It's titled "Dear Ola." If you take the first letter of each line and spell it down, you will get the name of the friend who inspired this poem and painting...do you know what the name is?

been to Gdansk - briefly

very nice, Shin!

This one is another one from my Abstract Angel series...done in earth tones.

I won't even try to express the emotion....

the door is open and she walks through, feeling the warmth. but more importantly, she revels in the light. she is followed by her spirit into a realm of total bliss; never to worry about the evils of a world left behind. she travels into the eternal.........just for the briefest of moments she reaches for the extended hand before turning and walking back to her safety, head hung in shame

beautiful, Shin! :rose:

Hi Spicy
Isn't he amazing?

Amazing just does not cover it for me. His work evokes such emotion that I can only visit the sight every few days!

I feel strong today! ;)

Here is the original painting that started the "Nazare Was Here" series. I sold it several years ago after it got into the juried art show at the Del Mar Fair in San Diego. At the time it was my #1 favorite painting...I was sad to see it go, but at least I got some money for it and ate for a whole month!

Here is an illustration I did early on in my art career, which started in college btw. So you see, you're never too young or too old to start.

It's titled "Paulina."

Sometimes, turning around to see where you've been is easier than forging ahead into the unknown!

imprisoned in her own darkness, she sits in her dank corner. day after day looking toward the wall of soft light. there is a world of beauty beyond, but it is out of her reach

Amazing, Shin! :rose:
