Shaving

As a virgin, I found that shaving looks alot better, and it makes me feel a bit more confident when it comes time to lose my virginity. But when it comes to shaving my testicles, i dont, because i feel like im gonna cut myself or something, if any guys have some advice, i would really appreciate it. thanx.

Like I said previously. Get yourself a quality razor. Do not skimp on that. I like Jim and the twins more than money so buy good and change the blade frequently. Gillette Mach 3 is well worth the price. Mine was one of those freebiees that just showed up in the mailbox but boy they sure got made up for the freebee when I bought some replacement blades. Damn are they ever fond of them! Zoweee!!

Good advice. I'm partial to the Schick Quattro (I have two, but favor the Power), and since I only use it for the one region, I don't have to change the blades as frequently. There's usually some kind of special, coupon, or rebate that makes the blades (almost) free, too, and all Quattro blades are interchangeable with all of the handles. :D

We've had good luck with the Gillette Sensor Excel also. The blades don't last quite as long and sometimes we'll get a dud, but they're far less expensive and almost as good as the Quattro.

I shaved in the past but let it go. My now almost G/F is shaved and likes her men shaved so I started shaving. I do it now every other day and I like it. Looked up on google for the best way to shave and got a few good ideas. Tell me what you think?

Did I see a mention of trying to use Nair?

DEAR GOD DONT.
if your allergic to that crap, it hurts like hell. Tried it for just my legs and wound up bawling my eyes out the rest of the night because it felt like someone poured a hive full of bees into the bathtub with me. I can't imagine trying to use that in a way more sensitive area!!!

But returning to subject-
My hubby loves me to be clean shaven, and I gladly do it. However, I made him clean up down there in return. He's only tried to full shave once, and refused to ever do it again. As long as its trim, clean and neat, I don't have an issue with it.
I guess that would be my 2 cents- if you want your partner to clean up down there, you should be willing to do some cleaning too.

I use the Mach 3. It works pretty good. But, I do remember seeing an electric one online that was made specifically for shaving down there. It was about $50.00 or so, and was supposed to shave you real smooth. Without the nicks and bumps and all that.

I just started shaving a couple of weeks back and I must say that I like it. Also, I just started wearing boxers instead of briefs and I like them also. Combined that with being shaved and it's a really nice feeling.

I am gonna try to lok up that electric shaver tomorrow. I hear it even shaves a guys balls really close without irration. But, ofcourse, i don't know how true that is...

Was it the Seiko Cleancut?

If so, there was a thread about this shaver recently, and the thread starter and his wife didn't seem to be too happy with it. However, I've also heard positive things about it.

YMMV, I guess.

It works well for some. I have sensitive skin and got a little irritation/burning, but it was no big deal. Veet, on the other hand, caused major irritation after only a minute or two. I shave now because it's less of a hassle and there's no icky smell, but I'd use Nair again if circumstances called for it. Nair is generally a little safer because it doesn't contain Urea, which is the ingredient that usually causes most of the irritation.

Anyway, I suppose your experience is a good reason to do a 24 hour test on a small area every single time you're planning on using it. :)

I found the removal cream I tried didn't cause any visible irration anywhere. I used it on part of my chest, my butt and my balls. mostly it worked well, and there was no discomfort while it was on, but after my balls burned for a couple hours. Everywhere else felt fine, and there was no rash or redness, just the sensation.

Also, I was wondering if anyone has tried teh new Gilette Fusion, five blade razor. if anyone has, let us know if its any good, if its better than a Mach 3, anything about it. thanks.
