When I started this thread, I was hoping wine lovers would jump in because what I know about wine wouldn't fill the bottom of a bottle. So thanks for your posts.
Today I want to salute local beers of the past. Where I'm from, the local beers were National and Gunther. Back in the day, you couldn't brew beer and ship it long distances, so all beer was local, for the most part. Miller, Budweiser and Coors figured it out, and the country changed.
