Share a Drink

When I started this thread, I was hoping wine lovers would jump in because what I know about wine wouldn't fill the bottom of a bottle. So thanks for your posts.

Today I want to salute local beers of the past. Where I'm from, the local beers were National and Gunther. Back in the day, you couldn't brew beer and ship it long distances, so all beer was local, for the most part. Miller, Budweiser and Coors figured it out, and the country changed.

What was your local beer?

Trying to be good today, But had a little crown apple left over in a glass from last night and put it down before mowing the lawn. Got back in and my bartender friend texted. She asked me if I was gonna stop in this afternoon.

So much for being good, should run to home depot and grocery store instead but the bar sounds better. I'll get life together tomorrow!

It's always happy hour the time I head up and I'm an IPA guy all the way. More alcohol and hoppier the better. Maybe another crown , shower and then IPA's at bar

Cheers!

Sounds good, my friend. Just keep a grip on it all and don't neglect home depot and the grocery store too long. People will start talking. :)

My dad and his friends used to have 6 or 7 cases of Natty Boh stacked in the cockpit with 2 cases on ice by the time we left the dock every Saturday and Sunday. If it wasn’t Natty Boh it was Pabst, Schlitz, or National Premium.

Always loved those WB Doner National Beer ads

Samichlaus

Try this:

Mega-malty, very powerful, almost an apertif. If you like malty bock beers, you might try this. I made it through 3 once in 2 hours, after which I was pretty wasted.

I drink me Costco vodka! it's good shit , big ole bottle for 12.99

But I try to keep my guests happy and so have several other vodka's on hand

Plan on making my girl tonight a two shots of Kettering , one shot of michigan cherry liquer and Lacroix

I'm thinking a big straw and bend her over the kitchen counter , Let her sip on it while I pull up her skirt and slide in though her stockings that seem to always be ripped in the crotch.

I guess I could be like "damn why are all her stockings ripped in the crotch what the fuck has this girl been up to?" but I won't I'll just slam my Costco vodka straight and get to work LOL..

wish I could start drinking now but too much shit to do

Cheers!

I'm extremely happy that tomorrow is Friday. But first I need to get through today. Yes. I realize it's not even 11am. Isn't that why they invented Bloody Mary's ????

The name of my fictitious bar (today, anyway) is "Come Inn and Gripe." It's purposely dark so you can drown your sorrows and not be seen if you don't want to be.

I agreed to cover for a coworker tomorrow at a review meeting, but today she told me I also had to compile the document for that review meeting. My boss volunteered to do that, but she has asked me so many questions, I might as well be doing it.

There, I vented. Feel free to add your Gripe.
