So, I've been doing sexual RPing for a few years now, and I've also been single. Gotta get off somehow, right? But I've started to wonder about something - how does sexual RPing impact real-life relationships? For those of you with significant others, has it had any effect? Are your SO's aware of your RPing? Does it bother them at all? I can see how a potential SO might be uncomfortable with me receiving/giving sexual attention to another person, fictional or not. But at the same time, RPing still feels like a hobby for me, and beyond what happens with our characters, I never form any kind of intimate or sexual relationship with the person behind the screen.
So, what are your thoughts on this? Has it affected any of your RL relationships?
