Sexting in Spanish?

Hi. I'm a stay-at-home HR consultant and have plenty of free time as my husband works FIFO (six weeks in a desert mine followed by four weeks at home). We have a red-hot sex life, including swinging and Tinder encounters, but I'm still left with a lot of dead time.

While hubby is away, I want to work out some of the frustration through writing. (I used to run an OF account but, while the money was great, it was like a full-time job!) My background is Latina, via Texas, I want to re-create some of my sexual experiences, but in a Spanish setting with Spanish-speaking characters.

That said, while my formal Spanish is solid, I really struggle with current slang. What kinds of resources can people here recommend? Is there such a thing as a Spanish-language AI sexting generator? Is there a corpus of texts stored somewhere I could draw from?

Thanks and love from Down Under!:kiss:

It depends on the "Spanish" setting you're talking about. The Hispanic community is really diverse; with us Latinos being on the majority. The Latinos who are born in the USA that speak Spanish have a very different set of slang than the Mexicans, in the same way that Venezuelans and Colombians have different slang terms, Argentineans and Chileans are also different, and so on... Heck, even within the Latinamerican and non-Latinamerican countries there's differences. Colombians have different slangs and accent within their own territory, such as the Paisas, the Caleños, the Porteños... The Guaros at the Venezuelan mid-west are different than the Caraqueños in the middle, and the Easterners, and all of them are different from the Maracuchos at the far west... Southern Mexicans are different than the Northern Mexicans, and don't even get me started on the diversity of Spain, though that's an European country.

There used to be a website called TuBabel, which was a dictionary of Spanish slang from all over Spain and Latinamerica, but it seems to have ceased to exist. In my experience, all of us use slang when sexting, with the most shy or most conservatives being a bit hesitant. Of course, I personally don't address my partners in very informal ways, like using the Mexican "¡wey!" but I've seen some partners address themselves as such. There are some meme screenshots that bounce around that do show a bit of how sexting goes (minus the joke*), but since they could be fake, if you manage to find them, take them with a grain of salt.

You may find slang on Google. I can't help you with Mexican slang though, but I'm more acquainted to the Slang around the Venezuela/Colombia area, as well as a few parts of the Caribbean, and Spain, though again, Spain's in Europe, so...

I don't think messing with AI will work because... well, even if it outputs something that's actually good, it's going to be far too neutral, which is something that Spanish struggles a lot to be. Just take a look at how vastly different Spanish voice work can be.

*There was actually one that went really viral about a college student sending a dick pic to his group text with his classmates when they asked him for his part. One of them eventually cleared him up that they wanted pictures of his "parts" of the homework. Another one is a confession on some website (I think? I don't remember it being a chat) about a woman sending a picture of her bare breasts to her boss when she asked her for a "bust" picture, as in, from the chest up. She jokingly said that they might buy her a bra.
