To be fair, Pensacola has a ton of seafood…Yes, sorry, pescatarian-related puns are my favorite![]()

I would never put it past you to make fish puns just for the halibut!Yes, sorry, pescatarian-related puns are my favorite![]()
And it still does! After 2.5 years, I left having consumed 0.00% of it!To be fair, Pensacola has a ton of seafood…
Obviously. And that's interesting to me because I've lived all over the US and the food has always been predictable. I've had really shitty service, but not food (for what it is).*Except when it serves food poisoning.
Did they have wings of gold?I mean…Zaxby’s has a drive-thru and is definitely firmly in the fast food category, but their chicken is good, and one of the few things I miss from my time in Pensacola![]()
Same with me and Chipotle. In the last couple decades or so, most reports I’ve seen of food-borne illnesses are from Chipotle, but I can’t recall ever personally getting sick thereObviously. Noooooo! It’s not S&S without your postwhoringDid they have wings of gold?
Aaaaaaaand I’m out for another week. See ya folks.
I’ve never really been a fan of the queso blanco that they serve at Chipotle and Moe’s. I prefer BWW hatch quesoThe first and last time I ate at Chipotle, they only had cilantro rice and didn't have queso. Might as well burn it to the ground.
None of those are in first date range imo.
Amen. Even 20+ years ago when I asked my now wife out, it was for drinks. Which then led to dinner. But I already knew to make short first just in case the girl was crazy.None of those are in first date range imo.
But then again, I did start my dating life in the Midwest. A million years ago.
Take me somewhere that is locally owned and there is only one of them.
It doesn't have to be fancy. It doesn't hwve to have table clothes. And if it's pretentious- no thanks.
A solid micro- pub or all day diner would be a far better first date option in my opinion than any of those.
Also, imo... a first date is probably something like going for coffee and not a sit down restaurant meal in the modern era. I don't want to be committed to a whole meal with someone until I'm sure I can enjoy the time it takes to drink a coffee. Start with a low bar. lol
Bringing the Lovense A-Game. Ladies, whatayasay?

Exactly!!! I bet you know of such a place. With Harry Potter candles hanging from the ceiling?
Cocktails (because it is a date, and I am old fashioned. Though I won't order and Old Fashioned, probably). Think The Bible Club in Portland, an old speakeasy. Then a walk in Selwood park. Dinner, or a slice at Escape, depending on the vibe for the night to that point. Bookstore, and let her pick out a book or three to buy.My favorite first dates are coffee/walk on the beach.

You see the problem with this philosophy is you assume there is enough culture in parts of the Midwest that there are good local optionsNone of those are in first date range imo.

While I agree in principle, I've lived in places where you had to drive 45 minutes to get to something as "good" as Applebee's, and I hate that place! It doesn't have to be fancy. It doesn't have to have table clothes. And if it's pretentious- no thanks.
