All possible respect to Raul Julia, rest his soul, but Louiz Guzman looks so much more like comic Gomez than any other LA actor. The whole casting looks great from photos I’ve seen.

Luis Guzman does LOOK like the comic Gomez, but I still love Raul Julia’s exuberance and intensity. I also love love love Catherine Zeta-Jones (she had been ne of my top 3 celebrity girl-crushes since Zorro), but felt the Wednesday script could have gone a lot harder with the passion between Gomez and Morticia.

Addams Family Values is just straight up one of my favorite movies. First one’s good, second one is great.

Yes! One of the few sequels that’s better than the original. Probably Joan Cusack’s best role too.

Absolutely. But John Astin absolutely created the character. It was his idea that Gomez and Morticia were so incredibly, over the top in love and so public about it. He fought for that, in a time when TV couples still had separate beds.
Gomez and Morticia are the best couple, and what I aspire to.
