I see I need to let my beard grow out...I actually did try![]()
Rebels is some of the best Star Wars Media out there.Fine... I'm getting geeky here.
The animated Star Wars: Rebels, has Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarrus. They have a solid relationship amidst the chaos of war, with very little tension. They are supportive, they are basically parents to a pair of teenagers, and when they argue, they talk. Each gives ground without losing their points of view. They communicate and cooperate. And they do all of that without giving up their individual identities and goals outside the relationship. It is who they are, but doesn't define them. It is the most romantic thing on television.
Yes, it’s great! I always wanted to live in a village like Causton. Besides all the murders off courseWould that be Tom and Joyce Barnaby? Or John and Sarah Barnaby?

I know, it made me sad. I wanted The Clone Wars' and Rebels' Ashoka. Also more show and less tell. I wanted to love it.Rebels is some of the best Star Wars Media out there.
Shocking to me that the Ahsoka series managed to be sooooooo boring
Need some cold water and a fan after that?I actually did try![]()

Yep. Because who doesn’t love a western in space? It’s my favorite of the new SW stuff.I loved all the casting I loved all the characters, and I stopped watching after like ep 3. Ugggh write a script please.
Anyway, rewatching s1 of Mando and it’s still the nuts.
Other than Rogue 1, Mando is the best addition to the live action Star Wars universe since the rebirth of the franchise.I loved all the casting I loved all the characters, and I stopped watching after like ep 3. Ugggh write a script please.

I wish they would do more like Mando, just good stand alone episodic stories that largely keep to themselvesYep. Because who doesn’t love a western in space? It’s my favorite of the new SW stuff.
What's great is they are all of that, without being perfect or in any way boring. They make mistakes, but they forgive. They talk things out and explain. They bicker, but in love, as they have been together as a team if not a couple for ten years. They even had goals outside of themselves that put them at odds --Hera wants to fight, as her father did, as part of the Rebellion. Kanan has no problem fighting the Empire, but as a former Jedi Padawan who was nearly killed, fears becoming part of something larger. And while that causes tension, they work it out like adults. In one episode, they are working with the more military rebels, and Kanan acts out verbally, then leaves the room. She follows him and confronts him. He responds by saying he doesn't trust the rebels, and her response is beautiful: "talk to me." And my favorite part? Kanan is way taller than Hera, so he slumps against the wall, and they are now on the same level. It is subtle, but perfect. And the other part I love? The issue isn't resolved in one discussion, but they work their way through it with time, understanding, and growth. That’s… a fantastic answer actually, and probably the best couple currently in the canon.
Oh yes. And Bo-Katan.Also I still have a thing for the Armorer.
Andor was pretty damn good too.Other than Rogue 1, Mando is the best addition to the live action Star Wars universe since the rebirth of the franchise.
