Contradiction? I'm a LIB but it doesn't matter in this case-find the average of Hegel, Powell, Myers, and Biden's stance on when, how, or if we should attack Iraq and I'll gladly go with it. I happen to not trust Rumsfeld and Cheney with unlimited influence (Israel's a big reason). If it goes down, it needs to be overwhelming and we must "stay the course" (a longterm presence).

I agree with the long term presence. That has been a problem since before WW1. And too the world needs to situp and check out our world history. Too many wars with no long term occupation to insure that it dosen't happen again. If we go in and "clean house" there needs to be a presence, whether it be us or the UN! We made the mistake before and just assured we'll make it again.
