Good morning to you.
On my 4th mug...my blood type is caffeine...![]()
I don't drink coffee until 10 am. Yikes, it's almost 10 now! When I woke up it was almost 9. It felt good.
Hello everyone...I'm so happy I found this thread. Will definitely subscribe and be back to chat when you all are around.
Perhaps someone told me about this thread before, and I just forgot.....
I think I do that all the time, I just can't remember.....
HI there LLidar.... glad to see you here... hope you come back often...
The wife didn't start drinking coffee until years after we were married. I started about age 3. A family friend used to watch me when my mom went to work. She would make coffee, mine with mostly milk and sugar, and I'd sit on her lap and we'd read "Il Progresso". It's how I learned to read and speak two languages before I was 4. So, coffee has a lot of fond memories for me...
That's similar to my experience.
Ahh, coffee. When I was growing up, it was coffee or water, but always coffee in the morning. I can't ever remember not drinking it. I've always liked it strong and black, we only had Pet milk in a can, for cream. And sugar, you didn't waste sugar putting it in coffee.
Funny how times have changed. We used to buy our coffee in the great big cans. Maybe 50 lbs.? All I can remember about them, the cans were green and were MJB. For the winter, my mother would order 10 of the cans to be shipped upriver, You might run out of other items, but you didn't run out of coffee.
It's why we get along so well...![]()
Do you really think that's the reason?
So I went and saw my doctor for a check up. Now just to let you know, I am 62, I have type 2 diabetes, High Blood Pressure and was up to 235. So I decided when I turned 62, I was going to take early retirement and focus on what I wanted to do . The job I was at didn't pay that well and I was going to get the same money when I retired... and the stress was big.
So here I am at my doctor... she looked at me and said well, I hear you retired in Feb, I said yep. She said your blood work was AWESOME. Everything is down. You weight is down to 210, and your blood pressure is down, your A1C is the lowest it has ever been at 6.2 and.... you are just doing great and what has changed...
I said Doc... you just said what was different. I RETIRED!
She said you look so relaxed and happy and I said yep... I am ... lol
