ok.. dumb question.. what now? lol. i'm a fan.. but to be honest.. i don't understand this playoff thing.. do we have another set of playoffs? or is it to the Series now?

They'll play the winner of the N.Y.- Oakland series, then the winner of that series goes to the world series.

You will have to play the Yankees first for the American League Championship ( after the Yanks finish defeating Oakland tonight). Then, the winner of that series plays the National League Champion (Arizona Diamondbacks or Atlanta Braves) in the World Series.
