I spent some time finding a Christmas desktop theme and screen saver last night and never found one that I liked. It made me wonder...What do you have as a desktop, background and/or screensaver on your computer.

Right now I have an X-Men desktop theme with a Mystique background and a revolving X-Men movie scene screensaver.

A Sim City theme. It is as cool as my Goofy theme at home. Then I fall back on the Van Halen themes. Got several of those.

The same one that was there when I first turned the computer on: the cow-themed company logo.

The picture of someone special to me on the desktop. A Tomb RAider, Last Revelation screensaver

I used to have a picture of the machine I drive, a Bombardier PLUS MP Snowcat as a background, but one of my kids deleted it, and I didn't bother to download it again. Now I just have the generic Win95 clouds.

I forgot to add that I also have the application for "Felix the Cat" running which lets Felix jump around my desktop at his leisure. It is kind of neat when he rubs against Mystique in that pussy kind of way. ;)

my wallpaper has a scene from Ultima Online (my hubby is a fanatic about it) and our screen saver is from Cartoon Network's Dexter's Laboratory. I love that show!

Mine's Pinky and the Brain
when I do something wrong, Brain says "If I could reach you, I would hurt you."

Countess, do you remember where you found that one? That is one of my favorite cartoons.

Tony, I'll see if I can find the link. Its around here somewhere!
Since my kids are on the computer more now, I had to take off the desktop theme that was Ed's House of Dominatrix!

No screen saver on my computer but my wallpaper is a picture of my two year old.

On my honeys computer the screen saver looks like your screen is underwater with a fish swimming around. His wall paper is a different picture of out little girl.

I alternate between clouds & the Barbie Screen Saver that my 8 year old niece sent to me. It has shoes & the cursor is a lipstick. I have a picture of Justin as my wallpaper.

They have all sorts of neat things to add to your cursor. At the moment, we have a little elf for the holidays

Comet Cursor will also auto download its own software to your hard drive without your knowledge and is a bitch to get rid of.

Avoid it like the plague.

Screensaver is my kennel name bouncing....

Wallpaper is a wonderful photo of a dog & person 'high-fiving'. It means everything to me that my life stands for.

I have one of the Windows98se with the bugs in them. No animated cursors because they make the puter freeze, so I have nicely static cursors. When the winamp isn't playing the sound effects are austin powers, darth vader and the sounds of orgasms.

For Wallpaper I have a lovely bouquet of sunflowers in a green watercan from BHG.com. http://www.bhg.com/celebrate/wallpaper/ It's under the fall colors one.

My desktop display colors are all in rose shades, which actually doesn't look bad with the wallpaper.

I have no screensaver. I use the G-Force plug in through my winamp. It moves with the music. I almost never turn my winamp off, as Samuari can attest, I bitch about it whenever someone wants to voice chat with me. Don't like the sound of silence much. OOooo cooool. There's another one I'ma try out. Anyway, here's where I get them. http://www.winamp.com/customize/ My cat chases them, and rewrites when I leave the wordprocessor running.

No, I almost never shut of my computer.

My wallpaper is Jeri Ryan aka 7 of 9 of Star Trek Voyager.

My Icons are Jeri Ryan aka 7 of 9 in various positions.

My sounds are all Jeri ryan aka 7 of 9 she really loves it when I turn her on and she threatens to assimilate me when I turn her off.

My Screensaver is either Johny Castaway of Scrennantics a very amusing cartoon of a person stranded on an island in the ocean or it is WaveVu's Money making screeen asver that gives you 50 cents for every 15 times it comes on, so i simply set up a mouse mover to move every 90 seonds and the screen saver to come on every 60 seconds and wake up in the morning with 5$ in my account.

I've just got one of the text messages. It says, "If you can read this you are probably not dead yet."

for a screensaver i have this absolutly bitchin' thing called "Galaxy 10".. it's incredable... it makes around a dozen different types of galaxies out of multi-colored little pixles.. you can customize the hell outta it.. you can make one type of galaxy, the "sphere" let's say (it's a large, "hollow" ball galaxy), spin fast, slow, whatever, make it have a bnch of supernovas, comets or stars being born, and so forth and so on... there can be MILLIONS of different galaxies in your little "universe" for you to go put-putting around in you little ship to visit... if ya like space at all, GET THIS ONE!! it's freeware, so it's all good (or was when i DLed it a while back)...

for my wallpaper, i got a black dragon sitting on some rocks looking all badass and my cursor is the Earth Alliance space station Babylon 5..

Ambrosius

Please tell me that it's original Van Halen stuff????

The exciting wallpaper on my computer is blue rivets..woohoo

No screensaver running.

If I get the digital camera I asked for, wallpaper will become pics of my little buddy (no, not that one, my son you pervs...)

I have several wallpapers I switch through. The one on now is a picture of a beautiful Indian maiden painted on the tank of a show bike. I have another of a bright red Yamaha Royal Star Venture. I also have two scenic pictures I use. One is of the harbor of my home town at sunrise. A sail boat is at the center of the picture and Mount Baker is in the background. The other was taken from the New Dungeness Lighthouse at sunset. It's shows the Dungeness spit snaking out from the base of the Olympic mountains.
My screen saver is also an analysis program. I downloaded it from the SETI at Home sight. It analyses data from several radio telescopes operated by the SETI(Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) project. If your interseted the sight address is http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/
So far I've invested about 1800 hours of computer time. Nothing yet, but I do believe they're out there and they will contact us!
Comshaw (putting on his aluminum foil hat with antennas)

Would I have to turn off my winamp? That would reek like the StudMuffin's socks. I'm almost jealous BT. *goes off and pouts*

By the way LeeMOS, take pictures of your lil buddy to any photoplace, the photoshops are better than wallyworld, and have them put them on a cd. Then copy the pics from the cd to the harddrive, then use them as wallpaper. ;) of course, you may want to wait until after christmas, and lament about your lack of ability to put pics on your puter.

My desktop has on it Captain Thigh, Lesiure Suit Larry's final conquest in "Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail"...everytime you get Larry to "score" with one of the babes in the game, you unlock a .BMP of that gal in a seductive pose to use as wallpaper...LOL...not TOO sexiest eh?

As for screensavers, I have a variety that I use as the mood strikes me...my current favorite is a program called VIM:Virtual Intelligence Matrix...it has this gal in a blue leotard who runs arouns a completely CGI world...she looks at things and develops likes and dislikes for various objects...a virtual intelligence based upon the way the human cerebral cortex operates...tres' cool

And speaking of "virtual", I also have VirtuaGirl running...so every now and then I'm treated to a mini stripshow down in the corner of the screen... :D

Havoc

Johnny Is The Man!

Hey!

I have webshots for my wallpaper and occasional screensaver.
But Recently hooked up with Johnny Castaway!
He celebrates the holidays, cooks, eats, fishes, cavorts with ships of bikini clad women and does a variety of other amusing stuff.
Johnny Rocks!

Be Well, RNAB
