Setsuna sensed an enemy approach. She knew her target and she knew him well. "Sagittarrius" she said under her breath, eyeing the door carefully. She had casted an esuna charm to protect the door, but knew his power had increased over the years. She was not going to allow him destroy her home.
Setsuna noticed the arrows approaching, and dodged out of the way. Within a moment's wake, she felt something sharp pierce her side. His arrow surrendered into her flesh, digging deep into her, causing liquid fire. She groaned, her Ruby eyes flashing in pain and anger. She was not going to let this asshole win!
With a swift movement, she raised her staff. Looking at her The Gate of Time, she whispered her apologies, a single tear falling from her porcelian face. She quietly in her mind, used her Death Scream. It was the only way.
She hid among the shadows, as he- the centaur of terrible deeds searched for her. When she heard the fainted gallop, She walked slowly, bleeding her sdness over.She had...lost. Setsuna knew she was going to die over this. Serenity would have her head again.

With a blood-soaked hand, Setsuna picked up a scattered piece, holding it close to her. She heard a bell in the distance..
"The man!!" she cried, eyes in shock. "It cannot be...he cannot...come through!" she said, her legs trembling. She had felt a little warmed from the stone she held, shrugging it off as an illusion. It was far from it.
Within minutes, her mind gave way, sending her in a sight of pretty images. She smelt something familiar. "Roses"she thought to herself..unsure what it may of been. Before she could question anymore, she had seen a familiar light before darkness.

Waking up from what seemed like a dream, she searched her surroundings. " A tree?" she asked herself, curiously. The pained returned. "Auuuggghhh.." she groaned, rubbing her head. She felt something uncomfitable underneath her. She noticed a man. The Man.. Setsuna pushed herself off him. "I am so sorry!!" she cried out, feeling embarrassed. It was the first time since an eternity that she had seen the face of a man. She blushed, looking away.

I can only guess my first time ringing the bell caused your ball cat thingy to fall.. and the second time.. you fell.. If I ring the bell again.. is a house going to fall on me?"

He offered her a bit of a smile and slowly got to his feet. He looked up at the shrine and then brushed some dust from his clothes and held his hand down to her, offering to help her up...

"I usually like to have the name of any woman who's falling all over me... but It would be rude not to introduce myself first.. I am Katsuro Kasuki."

For the second time today.. something fell from the Heavens and hit him. Except this time, instead of bouncing off of his head, the weight drove him to the ground. He layed there underneath of her, trying to catch his breath. He groaned slightly and slowly sat up, after Setsuna pushed herself off of him.

"It's all right.. " He groaned a bit more and reaching up, rubbing his head, fingers running through his white hair... "Were you hiding up there or something? I can only guess my first time ringing the bell caused your ball cat thingy to fall.. and the second time.. you fell.. If I ring the bell again.. is a house going to fall on me?"

Setsuna gently took his hand, limping. Never in a thousand years did anyone help her...just her.Usually other's relied on her knowledge, her power. She had learned his name.. Katsuro...Kasuki. She had never heard of it, nor did she believe him to be any threat to her. Apologizing seriously to his comment of Luna-P, she realized she was still dressed in her sailor P outfit. She turned red in embarrassment. She did not want to tell him her true identity. "I am known as...Sailor Pluto" she said in a whispered tone. She looked down upon him, stretching out her hand, the other tightly gripped upon her staff. Her heart leaped of joy. She had made a friend..at least...in her opinion, he did not run away from a fallen scout.

She studied his looks closely. He looked quite familar, but could not put finger to it. Setsuna looked at his handsomeness..admiring the broad cheekbones of a male. She body shivered in delight. "What is this feeling..?" she wondered, not knowing any signs of attraction. She knew she needed to get a grip- her mission was to find the others, war them that her old- enemy was back, and was up to something. Nodding gently, leaving Kasuki by himself, she ran off into the night, stopping once to look over her shoulder, blushing at the man who saved her fall.

She needed to get medical help. Now.

Mamoru felt Usagi's hand close on his. He never had to worry she was there. He stared into her eyes for a moment, but she wouldn't meet his gaze. No real matter. He turned to Minako.

"So how have you been Mina? Do you have a new boy yet? and how is your job?" Mamoru made small talk with Mina as he squeezed Usagi's thigh. He wanted to let her know he was still there.

Usagi felt Mamoru next to her, she finally turned to him leaning against is shoulder lovingly. A smile evident on her face as she caressed the hand that held her thigh. "Mamo-chan lets dance." she spoke softly within his ear nuzzling him there

Minako smiled to Usagi but adressed Mamoru's question first. "No new boyfriends but I got my eye out. I've been doing quite well and so far I've been travelling alot as Sailor V." She spoke, over the time frame she had found time to become Sailor V as an idol to girls and boys everywhere but fight crime as Sailor Venus along side the other senshi. "How have you been, should we be expecting Chibi-Usa soon?" she spoke playfully in response to their having bedded together.

 

[Hikari]

It was a pretty nice get together.. The music was great and the food was absolutely awesome.. Everybody got up to dance but Rei just sat there alone.. She had not the nerve to ask that guy to dance.. She looked around and he was suddenly absent.. She then saw an outstretched hand and heard a voice..


"Would you like to dance?"

The little cat came around the corner and peeked into the temple, seeing Sailor Pluto and...the kitty couldn't believe it. It was him. The small tabby considered proceeding right then and there, but realized that the boss would not be happy. So it waited still growing more and more impatient.

Dayne smiled, having changed into something more comfortable. He held out his hand for Rei, hoping to dance with her. He also made a mental note to ask her about any unusual activity seen at night. Bust mostly, he wanted to see if she danced as beautifully as she was.

She smiled and nodded, taking his hand as a love song began to play. She stood and looked to his eyes as his hand fell to her waist and he led. Her hair flew up gracefully everytime she spun or turned sharply. She eventually spun back into his arms laughing a bit as she felt a bit dizzy. The dance continued and he led her into the next room.. She felt a warmth and the strangest feeling of Deja vu, but there was no way she could have danced with him before.. Or was there?

Dayne wondered briefly why he felt so comfortable, so natural, dancing with the ravenhaired beauty. It was almost as if he had danced with her before. A sudden thought occurred to him, and he halted, just as the music stopped because all his CDs had been played through. He looked at her, then at her friends in the other room, and shook his head.

"It couldn't be...could it?"

She paused and looked into his eyes as he spoke suddenly..


"It couldn't be...could it?"


"I don't know.."


It was like suddenly shifted into what seemed like a memory.. She was in an elaborate white dress and he was in a garb similar to that of the generals of the dark kingdom. They were dancing and she had placed her head on his chest as he held her close.. There was that same warmth and another feeling.. He'd pulled her aside and they were talking. It was like the words were muted, but she knew what he was saying and he tilted her head upward for a kiss.. Then there was a sudden sound and they were both snapped back to reality.. She found herself in the same position that they had been in when the vision ended and she blushed deeply..


"The CD's done! Do you have anymore? Am I interupting something?"


It was Mamoru and he seemed almost humored at their awkward position.. They let go of eachother quickly and Dayne went off to change the CD.. What in the world had that been? It looked like the moon kingdom.. What in the world was going on?

Kasuki bowed and offered her a small smile, "Hello, Sailor Pluto.. it is a pleasure to have you fall on me.. you are, by the way, welcome to do that again any time you wish!" He squeezed her hand and bowed his head slightly, kissing the back of her hand (something he'd seen done a dozen times in old American and English movies). He watched.. quietly.. without so much as another word as she ran off... it was only then that he noticed she was wounded.. and bleeding.

He was speechless.. by the time he'd put everything he could together.. that she'd needed more help than saving from a fall it was too late.. she was already gone.. His head lowered slightly, but that smile had yet to leave his face... he slipped his earphones on and kicked his iPod back on and slowly started back toward the stairs, that led down to the street.. He noticed the splattering of Pluto's blood.. he would follow the trail as best he could.. part of him knowing he would loose the trail eventually... He still smiled.. hoping he would see her again...

The memory had been startling to Dayne, as it was every time he had it. But somehow, having this real attachment causing it to appear...even more, the SHARING of it with her, seemed to make it even moreso. He rushed off to change CDs, having forgotten to set his CD changer to switch discs, and quickly made the adjustment. He came back out, and poured both of them a drink.

 

[Hikari]

She sat down as her poured them both a drink. She grasped it and sipped it lightly.. She had never been much of a drinker, but she did not mind it..


"What happened just now.. It was so strange... I also know where we were, and I think you do too.. You would've kissed me if it hadn't been for Mamo-chan.. It's really confusing, and I wouldn't be offended if you were really weirded out and didn't want to see me again.. These things don't usually happen to people who just met and I would be weirded out too.."


She found herself looking down into her lap. She took a long drink and sighed..

Dayne sat down beside Rei, sipping at his drink. He listened to her, and smiled. He knew exactly where they had been, and closed his eyes. She was right, he would have kissed her, if they hadn't been interrupted. He knew that he'd have to break the news to her, as well as to her friends. But as the music started up again, he thought carefully. He didn't want to jeapordize their relationship that had barely begun because of some postcognitive vision of the distant past. Best to live in the here and now.

"Finally," the little cat whispered under it's breath as it shifted into a shrinemaiden, the shiftblade becoming a zen rock garden rake as she walked the outer edge of the temple looking busy. Gemini could tell there were spells or something set up so that no one could enter the temple without someone knowing about it, but outside was a different story. Gemini walked the grounds cleaning here, raking rock gardens there, maintaining everything as if she actually did work there. Every once in a while, however, she would drop a small sphere in a bush, behind a statue, in a bird bath. When she had made the full circuit around the temple, it was time to bite the bullet. The shiftblade became a whip as Gemini placed the last of her strange objects on its pedestal. She distanced herself from the front of the temple than turned towards it and broke into a sprint. This was going to need to be quick if she was going to get away without being caught. Crossing the threshold, she felt the spell go off. Any moment now, someone would notice her presence. As she approached the center, she placed the pedestal with the conical object pointing downward to direct the blast to the ground. Tossing the whip high into the air, Gemini shifted into a falcon and doubled back, catching the whip once more. As the falcon flew out of the temple, it gained height and recited the incantation.

"Kasai naka ana"

Immediately, the objects ignited and spread plasma in their respective shapes, ripping the temple apart at it's foundations. The only exception was the cone shaped detonator which sent a blaze down nearly seven times the length of the others. The temple began to collapse in on the plasma charges, consuming itself as it did so. When it was all over, what little was left of the temple sank into the well created by the central charge. Anything the defenders of this backwater solar system needed out of that temple was either vaporized or stuffed into a hole that would be innaccessible for quite some time.

Setsuna swayed her way through a darkened alleyway. Her panting steady, her vision blurred. She was losing blood..enough to make her easy prey for anyone. Picking up the last bit of strength, she continued down the lonely path, her blood staining the mud-caked concrete. Laughter emerged further down. "Laughter?" she pondered, shaking uncontrollably from shock. Setsuna quietly continued her walk until she saw a shadow appear within a abandoned-like house. It was massive, like the castles she saw home. She squinted hard, trying to make out faces. She whispered to herself the similar appreances to these people. "Mars...Venus...Endymion....The Moon Princess.."

Mamoru answered Minako's coy question. "Nah, Chibi-Usa isn't coming anytime soon. We still use condoms. Pluto sorta told us it would be later and we'd be married." Maybe a bit much information but she asked. "Sorry to hear that there is no-one in your life, but glad that Sailor V is going over well"

Mamoru was about to ask another question when he felt something deliscious nuzzle his ear. "Mamo-chan lets dance." "Sorry Miss V duty calls." Mamoru got up with a smile and helped his loving girlfreind to her feet. They shook against the music, looking vaugely silly but not caring. Mamoru remembered when merely doing this with Usagi could have caused property damage she had come a long way. After what was too soon a time it felt, the CD stopped. Mamoru walked over to Dayne, their host and asked "The CD's done! Do you have anymore? Am I interupting something?" (OOC: Oh noes. Mamoru's a gamekiller) Dayne and Rei looked like thet were going to be sharing something private for a moment there. Mamoru notice and decided to go get some fresh air.

Standing on the deck Mamoru breathed in heavily, smelling the fresh air. Yes his life was good. In the distance he thought he saw something. He looked harder squinting in the darkness. It looked like someone had collapsed in the distance. mamoru walked out towards the person intent on finding out what was wrong. I might just be some Wino but a few of the girls were quite late.

As he approached he saw the staff, and the long attractive flowing green hair. It was Setsuna! He ran and picked the fallen Setsuna up, and carried her into the house. Screaming all the time. "Get a doctor! She's hurt!" As he lay her down on Dayne's floor he pressed both hands to the bleeding wound in her side, trying to stop the flow of bleeidning. Quickly he had his shirt off pressing it further in and looking for other things to use.

Dayne blinked, then nodded, reaching into his pocket for his cell phone. He quickly dialed a local physician his mother had visited on her trips to Japan, and when the doctor answered, he quickly described the patient's condition, along with her appearance. The doctor hung up, and rushed over, having been warned ahead of time by his mother that he'd be moving into the mansion above the temple.

 

[Hikari]

Her blood ran cold as the news rushed amongst them all. Setsuna was wounded and away from her post.. The ominous sign and the temple fire going out. Why had she been at some stupid party? They had all become so careless to believe that they were still safe.. That everything was over, when indeed it wasn't.. She ran with the others to Setsuna's side and helped her transform to regular clothes. There was a darkness in the air something wasn't right. A disturbance to the natural order.. Something had gotten loose.. There was a sudden spark through her mind and she turned in the direction of the temple.. There was smoke rising from it.. Her eyes widened and she felt these events happening in slow motion as she climbed the stairs.. The temple and her home stood in ruins as police and firefighters showed up too late.. She dropped to her knees feeling completely defeated as tears came to her eyes.. Someone had followed behind her and she felt their presence..


"Whoever did this will pay.. Violating this sacred ground is unforgivable!!!"


Firefighters and police pushed her back asking her who she was and why she was there..


"I'm Hino Rei! I live here!! Let me pass!!"


She was absolutely hysterical and had no idea what she was going to do..

Dayne stood amongst the ruins of the shrine. He hadn't expected this, least of all on the night of a party. He knew the shrine could be rebuilt, but it would never be what it once was. He closed his eyes, and knelt, punching the stone tiles hard, causing some of them to crack. He opened his eyes slowly, and growled low in his throat, before heading back to the mansion at a full run. Rei was right, whoever did this was going to pay, and they weren't going to pay in money.

As he entered the mansion, he rushed past the doctor and the others, heading into the basement. His one thought was rage, plain and simple. He reached the hidden door, and touched the wall, pushing it open. He hadn't realized he had been followed, however, as he heard a gasp behind him at the sight of row after row of military hardware. He slowly turned around to see....

Gemini laded on the windowsill of the building his compatriots inhabited, almost immediately shifting into the form of a thin young man in his early twenties. The second he looped the whip over his shoulder, he caught sight of Capricorn. Capricorn didn't look happy, but then he never did.

"What's the look for? I did what you said, but it still seems a bit much just to mess with a magical source of one guy."

"That is not the full reason, Tsuin. The fact that the individual you encountered bore symbols of elemental power was merely a secondary concern. The plan to dispose of the temple was formulated to mesh with the destruction of the Pluto installation. I could not convince anyone to abandon that course of action, so in an attempt to maximize the benefit of that idiocy, we destroyed the temple in as grand a fashion as possible. At this moment, we appear emotional, unruly and heavyhanded. They will not expect much in the way of subtlety from our organization."

"What? You had me do that to make us look stupid? Hell, all we had to do was show them Sagitarrius and they --"

Gemini was cut off by the blast of energy that slammed into his chest. When he finally could see again, he saw Capricorn standing over him, the martyr drive glowing with potential heavy fire.

"Sagitarrius has his faults, but at lest I can plan around those. You however are completely unpredictable. My only hope is that you listen when I tell you where to go. No one in this organization can trust you. I am the only one who knows any possible manner to wrangle you into line. So before you begin to sling insultuos comments, you should think twice. Remember your obligation and the price of failure or betrayal, thing."

Gemini kept his mouth shut until Capricorn was out of the room, then under his breath, "fuck you old man...you need to get laid, seriously."

Setsuna felt familiar hands carry her into the home. She sighed, flinching every so often. Mamoru spoke to her softly, coaxing her tense body with gentle words."Endymion....." she moaned, opening her eyes slightly. Her king had saved her, protected her. A smile cracked from her lips, feeling his gentle hands tend to her. She felt guilty, dreaming of her future king in such a way, but could not help the visions she dreamt so long ago, having him, loving him, carrying his child- their Small Lady. Setsuna knew that the visions were probably just her deepest wishes. She had only talked to him briefly, when Small Lady was a child, she had missed encounters with him when Hotaru was alive, but knew he was there. Setsuna felt the pain slowly subside, her frantic breath slowing down. Opening her eyes, she saw his handsome face blushing her own. It had been too long since they met on the lonely planet- Pluto. Setsuna turned away from him, hiding the redness that matched the Ruby of her eyes.
