Usagi yawned, looking at David with confusion in her eyes. "So...your a good guy...kind of here to protect us?" Grabbing a Pocky stick, she waved it in the air " OH!!!!!! I get it!!!! So your a knight from the moon!!!" she yelled, tripping over her two left feet, crashing into a gun rack. "Sorry....". Usagi was still unsure about Dayne. "Why all the need of all this?" she asked from the ground.

"Well Usagi you can say I am a knight with out a Senshi to protect since in my universe my senshi was my wife Queen Asuka your doubles younger sister"David said as he felt a pain in his heart that never really healled after the death of Asuka.

Munching on her Pocky stick, she looked at David in even more confusion. "So.. Queen Serenity had another princess...Asuka..my sister? What happened to her? Where is she now?". All of this confused Usagi. She was unsure what happened in this "alternative universe". She wanted to know where Mamoru was, he'd know what David meant.

The War with the Setians and how Asuka died takin an attack that was ment for him.

She can control time!!" her eyes lit up, knowing she might be able to help him ^-^

Dayne blinked, listening to Usagi's question, then remembered something, and pulled his sleeve up, showing her a mark in the form of a silver crescent moon. He looked into her eyes.

Usagi turned her gaze towards Dayne, blinking blanky. "what does this mark mean to you?" he asked her. She remembered that silver cresent moon from somewhere, But knew it was not her kingdom's. "What are you?" she asked supiciously. Her head boggled with unanswered questions. "Why does everyone ask me such hard questions??!!!" she whined, hugging her knees. "Where's Mamoru and Rei-chan when I need them?" she wondered to herself, reaching for another Pocky stick.

He left it to Usagi and David whether or not they followed, but he needed answers. He knew Rei was at the remains of the temple, but more than that he was unsure of.

Dayne stopped at the top of the stairs, resting one hand on a statue of a tiger. He looked over his shoulder at Usagi, and thought carefully. He turned slowly, and looked into her eyes, and before he knew what was happening, two words slipped out of his mouth.

She knew she had an older brother from what david had told her before, but that was the past...surely her older brother would be older-looking, let alone deceased like her sister Asuka. Shaking her head gently she blushed slightly at Dayne. "you must be mistaken.. I do have a brother but not by the name Dayne...also...that cresent moon..it's of an older line of blood." she whispered. Usagi looked away. Dayne started to make phone calls, hoping to find out who would be capable of blowing up a Shinto shrine, let alone who would want to. As he did so, he prepared himself for battle, avoiding the solid projectile weapons, and instead going with high energy pulse guns and a laser weapon. He slipped them into holsters, before going back out and picking up several components of a big sword, each one a sword in its own right. He put them mostly together, and then slid them in sheaths.

Usagi silently walked down the stairs, tip-toeing past Dayne. She sat on a nearby couch, huddling her body close. " I am of Silver Millenium descent" she spoke to herself, looking at the wand. She couldn't tell him just yet. The memories were flooding back to her like a raging river. Usagi groaned trying to shake the past memories away. Dayne came back up wearing a strange suit of modern armor treated with psionics, along with his weapons. He had decided to grab a couple of submachine guns just in case, and had them in holsters on his hips. He looked at Usagi, and raised an eyebrow, before walking over to her.

Usagi held out a small box towards Dayne before shaking in fear. It had begun to glow. "I've...been having dreams..." she began to say before looking away. "Go to Rei-chan...she needs you" she said quietly, putting the box away.

Dayne watched Usagi for a few seconds, then nodded, and walked out to see Rei, pulling on a pair of shades that also housed a scanning system. He was scanning the rubble even as he walked up to to Rei, and cleared his throat softly.

She felt him come up behind her. Her tears were dried against her cheeks and she got to her feet.


"I've been selfish standing here with the situation as it is.. Tell them I apologize for it.. This deed will not go unpunished!!"


She turned and looked into those eyes of his, then looked away..


"I should go check on the others.."

Dayne nodded, and tossed her a bow with the mark of Mars on it, on instinct. He then started to walk back to the mansion.

"Usagi is a little confused, but she's ok. David's examining my weapons collection, and Mamoru is talking with that ravishing green haired woman."

She looked at it and was more than a little shocked.

"Where did you get this? There's something about..."


She slipped into another memory.


"There's something about that guy.. I dunno what it is.. What do you think sis?"


"I think you like him..."


Rei was in the body of her former self going through these motions.


"That's ridiculous! I'm a guardian who protects the princess. I have dedicated myself in every way to doing so.."


"That doesn't mean you can't find him attractive or like him.."


"I don't wanna talk about this."


"You think he's cute! Admit it!"


She looked out the door and bumped directly into him..


"I.. I.."


She suddenly snapped out of the vision and saw Dayne over her. She'd somehow ended up on the ground..


"What happened just now?"

Dayne blinked, having witnessed Rei collapse. He had leaned down, and was fanning her, trying to bring her back around, when she woke up on her own.

"You had me worried there...you passed out on me."

"You were..and I was.. I did? Dayne don't freak out or anything, but I think I've known you before. Only it was a really long time a go.."


She figured he probably though she was delirious because she'd just passed out but she knew what she'd seen. He didn't seem as surprised as she though he'd be at her random babble. What was going on?

Dayne looked at Rei again, then smiled. Somehow, he had a hunch it was going to be easier to tell them about his dreams than the thought. He started to go back to the mansion again.

"I'll tell you all I know when we get up there. I have some videos taken from a dream machine for you all to watch."

"A dream machine??"

She had no idea what he was talking about, but she followed him back to the house nonetheless. She stopped for a moment to look back at the place that was once her home and knew that there was nothing she could do at the moment. It pained her, but still fshe followed this mysterious man..

Dayne smiled, feeling almost at peace. He figured he'd have to talk to his father later about trying to fix up the shrine as a gesture of peace. He grinned as she asked about dream machines.

"A dream machine is basically a machine that is used to monitor dreams, by converting electrical impulses into images, in much the same way as a DVD player."
