Dayne raised an eyebrow, then shrugged, and stood up, dusting himself off. He looked at his watch, and then looked up at the heavens. As his hand lowered, it revealed his watch had both the time, and a countdown on it. Anyone looking would notice this, but no one would know what the countdown was. Dayne started to walk back to the steps when he saw several other girls coming up the steps.

[Hikari]

It had been rude of him not to say a word and she turned and began to sweep angrily. He had to be a foreigner.. He just started walking off like it was nothing.. She wanted to yell, but she remembered her manners and kept sweeping as she heard some familar voices in the distance and looked up towards it..

OOC: Come on.. I could use my fellow senshi to show up right about now..

Usagi had been caught up with David at the Crown Plaza that it had taken Luna some time to get her attention. But after a while she managed to get David and Usagi relocated as they made their way toward the shrine. In the distance, the sound of sweeping could be heard and Usagi knew who that was almost instantly. "Rei-chan!!!" she called rushing further ahead of David to greet her friend.

[occ: have no clue where the others are...*shrugs*]

David walks up towards Rei behind Usagi as he has flashback memory of the first time he meet Yuri as she had ran into him on the step. Of course he was jerk since he was still morning the lost of his first love Patrica. Once he caught up with Usagi."IT just like i remember it when i first went to mine"he said.

Dayne blinked, just as Usagi ran straight into him, bowling him over and leaving them both sprawled out at Rei's feet. He hadn't been expecting her, but his breath caught in his throat when he saw her. He could have sworn he was looking into the eyes of his sister.

 

[Kuuroinochou]

"Ow!" Usagi whined looking down at who she'd bowled over, "Ah, gomen..." she said. They were twisted in limbs and body parts which made for a provocative scene but it was purely innocent. "Are you okay?"

 

[Hikari]

Rei could only roll her eyes and try to untangle them.. She soon succeeded and helped them.

"Usagi! How many times have I told you not to run in this area! It is sacred ground and people come here for peace and to honor the shrine.."


She turned to the man once again, bowing not so low this time as he had been so rude earlier..


"I am sorry again sir.. My friend here is rather clumsy..."

Dayne was silent, still in shock at the girl who had run him over. He barely registered the movement of the beautiful ravenhaired girl, so intent was he on studying the girl who had run him over. He slowly turned to face the ravenhaired girl, aware she had said something to him. He blushed, realizing he looked kind of silly, and bowed low.

"It's okay. I didn't expect to be bowled over, but then, I didn't expect someone to attempt to BANISH me either." He teased the ravenhaired girl, finally realizing why she looked familiar.

"Nothing ever changes"David said as he walks up to were the others were"She is right Usagi , Rei is right this is holy place you wouldnt run in the Vatican or in the Temple Mount would you"he said in sacratic tone.

 

[Hikari]

"It's okay. I didn't expect to be bowled over, but then, I didn't expect someone to attempt to BANISH me either."

She blushed a bit at his words not completely sure why, but she found herself trying to hide it.. She never blushed. Not ever.. Who was this guy?


"I apologize again for that.. It was a stupid mistake.."


She laughed a bit her pale cheeks stained pink..


"Nothing ever changes"


There was a strange man with usagi and she honestly didn't trust him. Something about him was off. Like he didn't exactly belong..


"She is right Usagi , Rei is right this is holy place you wouldnt run in the Vatican or in the Temple Mount would you"


"Usagi, please tell me who this man is and why he is speaking to you like he's know you all his life.. Have you forgotten Mamoru so quickly?"


She stood there glaring at the two. Something just didn't smell right to her.

Dayne raised an eyebrow. He could swear he's seen this one somewhere before, but he couldn't be sure where. He shrugged it off, and looked at Rei again, finding her attractive, and still thinking she might almost be one of the princesses from his past. He believed she might prove important later.

"Well the samething applies to you Rei-chan. Your still over bit overbearing yourself and judgemental"David said to the preistess as they stand on the steps. The air was filled with the smell of the cherry blossoms.

 

[Hikari]

She looked at him as if he was the worst slug on earth..


"Do not presume to call me your friend when we have never met. I do not know where you are from, but your manners are poor and your formal speech quite vacant.. I do not know who you are or how you know my name, but you haven't my permission to refer to me on kind friendly terms."


She bowed slightly to the man she had bumped into earlier and turned to walk from the rude one usagi had brought with her..


"If you have nothing of importance to discuss with me usagi, I would ask that you allow me to complete my daily tasks.."


(side note: -chan is a term used among friends or boyfriend girlfriend and is informal..)

"I have business with you and other girls that is of grave importance"he said in tone like he knows their secert as he flashes as his watch and then the seal from the envlope.

 

[Hikari]

She had heard him say something as she slid the temple door shut.. The nerve of that guy.. To presume she was his friend like that.. If usagi was going to cheat on Mamoru with some jerk she found on the street she would not have any part in it.. She sat infront of the flame which had been re-lit and began gazing into again.. It flickered and she knew Mamoru would be there soon to find Usagi.. It would not be pretty. Lover's scorn and jealousy was something best to not get entangled in..

David went up to the door of the temple and opens it and walks in"Rei you ands the girls are in serious trouble I am here to help you"he said in tone that speaks of the truth and honor.

Dayne started to head back to his mansion, then smiled, having an idea, and walked over to the Shrine's door, and knocked gently. He had decided to hold a party and invite the shrinemaiden and her friends, and had made a mental note to keep the one she called Usagi away from anything breakable.

 

[Hikari]

"Rei you ands the girls are in serious trouble I am here to help you"

She heard his words and turned to him..

"What do you know about the danger that is coming?"

She then heard a knock at the front door...


"You stay right there and do not move or touch anything"


She then opened the door and was a little shocked to see the guy from before at her front door..


"Oh.. Hello, I'm sorry about Usagi.. She's well.. She's just herself.. I'm Hino Rei.. What can I do for you?"


His green eyes seemed to stare right through her as if he could see her as she truly was.. Of course he was kind of attractive, but she had other things needed to do besides thinking anyone was attractive.. Her grandfather had gone off to visit an old friend in kyoto and she had been left to take care of the place herself with the help of a few other mikos that came to help from time to time..

Dayne smiled, and pointed up to the mansion on the hill. He spoke calmly and quietly, ignoring the whining or Usagi and the serious look on David's face. He told her about him just moving into the mansion, and considering throwing a party. He told her he could use some company, then asked her if she could invite some of her friends.

"After all, I know no one here, and have never been to Tokyo. I figure I can get to know some people, and I'd enjoy the company of a girl as pretty as you."

What do you know about the danger that is coming?"

She then heard a knock at the front door...

David removed his shoes and sat down it just like he remembered it in his universe this was strange but he dealt with stranger things before.

"After all, I know no one here, and have never been to Tokyo. I figure I can get to know some people, and I'd enjoy the company of a girl as pretty as you."

Rei blushed at his words.. There it was again with the blushing, what was it about him that was making her do that? His offer sounded nice. She hadn't gotten out much since her grandfather had left for his trip.


"Well it'd have to be later at night.. I work here all day.. Sure it sounds like fun.."


It was quite uncharacteristic of her to agree to something like this, but she couldn't deprive her friends from being in a big fancy house. She knew they'd get a kick out of it and the guy seemed genuinely nice..

Usagi came up behind David allowing the man to speak. Rei was often hard to talk to when she was upset. After Rei left she ventured to talk, "David let me calm her she's not going to trust a complete stranger. Besides she's so head strong..." that was Rei for you. Sighing she waited for Rei to return.

"I know Usagi its just that I look at like we already known each others for years or millenium of so. It going to be hard for you and the others to truely trust me but I promise you that I will protect you all with my life"he said ashe looked into her big blue eyes with his hazel eye were that of the truth and his words were that of dear friend.

Dayne smiled, then bowed low, before starting to leave, before feeling her hand touch his arm. He turned back to look at her, and raised an eyebrow. He was confused by her reaction, and then smiled.

"Something you want to say, Miss Rei?"

Kasuki

Kasuki watched quietly, the strange events that had passed.. He stood on the temple grounds, leaning against a tree quietly. He'd watched many people come and go.. some coming to the shrine to buy charms.. others coming to pray.. and still others.. to congrigate. He stared quietly at them.. music pounding between his ears. He could almost feel them...

He closed his eyes and focused... the music helping to lull him into his spiritually aware state. He could see them.. he could feel there energy.. but it was strange.. how they all interacted... He then managed to shake himself out of the trance and moved up to the Shrine proper...

He moved along the stone path way quietly. Pausing a moment before looking up at the Torii. It was old.. and in need of some care.. paint chipping away from the wood in places.. he closed his eyes and stepped under it...
