Still trying to get his sums right the man of the moment is sending 100,000 more troops to Iraq, doubling the ground force.

He claims it wasn't because they hadn't sent enough in the first place but that it was always America's intention to ship them out.

But privately (Source: SkyNews 05.04 28 gmt 28 March) Pentagon officials are saying the level of resistance is far higher than expected...

Something's wrong somewhere. Either the incoming intelligence prior to the start of the war was incorrect or Rumsfeld's overblown ego convincied him the war would be easy...

Jeez you really do have a peculiar bunch of dysfunctional misfits in charge don't you...
