Rules Of The Living (Closed)

"Oh, Eden. I've wanted you so bad,. I hope this is really happening to me." he smiled and approached her pressing her against the pickets inner rail. He kissed her deep and hungry, as if he was already trying to be inside of her in every way. as he continued kissing her deep in hungry his hand reach down and slipped behind her thigh pulling her leg up so that he could easily enter her with one hard thrust. He gasped and moaned feeling her around him holding still so as not to explode right then and there. "Oh, you feel so good." He started with slow movents that always ended with a hard thrust. Each was followed with another just slightly quicker than the previous until he'd worked himself into a frenzy.

Eden smiled at what he said to her, and stroked his cheek showing she was very much real. When she felt him against her and returned the kiss. It was heated that much she knew, a heated kiss spoke volumes to her. Feeling his hand on her thigh and just followed him, she would follow him to hell and back if she had to. But she felt him and moaned into the kiss loudly as she felt him just thrust hard into her. When he didn't move she figured it was to stop himself from ending to quickly, thought made her smile.

Eden moaned more as she felt him moving into her body, smiling when he said she felt so good. It was nice to know that she could be happy with her, she moaned his name as she moved her head back a little bit. She smiled at him her breathing loud and it was a moment in time she would always treasure. She didn't know how this world would go, but she would be there beside him and to never leave him again. No one would be able to destroy them, to break them apart it wasn't possible..

Daryl felt Eden move and reached up to grab a handful of hair. Lacing his fingers trough her long dark locks he pulled back with controlled power. He watched her expression as he drilled into with frantic grunts. "Eden. Eden!" Her name was now a chant with each powerful thrust. He locked teeth gently on her chin and and growled as he neared his own climax.

"You like that?" He grunted, shoving her rear against the picket rail. "You're mine now. You like that? I'm not letting you go. Not anym-" He couldn't finish that last word as he exploded inside of Eden. He growled long and primal as he actually started pounding her even harder all the while cuming deep inside pussy. "Ohfuuuckyeah." He pushed on last time and rocked rocked his head back and fourth as he rode the wave of his orgasm before pausing to lean into her, spent and happy.

Eden watched him closely and it was fantastic to feel this way, she felt when he grabbed her hair though he gave it a tug it didn't really hurt her. Her heart was beating quickly as her breathing was as well. She smiled hearing him chant her name over and over again. She knew from the first moment she laid eyes on him again. That he would never let her go, though honestly she never wanted him to let her go. Eden loved Daryl more then anything, and right now this act wasn't simple as just sex.

It was a sign of love and perhaps even lust, but she felt him pick up "Yes" She groaned when he asked if she liked it, everything seemed so damn wonderful. And she cried out as he came into her, she moved her head back a bit her own orgasm going through her body. Her insides clamping down on him. Feeling him ride his orgasm and she did the same with her own, she watched as he stopped and leaning into her. Eden smiled looking into his eyes and smiled to him with much love. "I promise Daryl nothing will separate us again"

Daryl fought for air, breathing heavy and pulling on reserves of strength to keep standing. He kissed Eden's shoulder and neck, then met her eyes with his own. He smiled, sly and mischievous, "If you leave, you know I'll track you down." He grinned and gently rocked his hips against her then kissed her lips lovingly. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her cool skin to his body chest enjoying the feel of the air around them for a long moment. To ask him for the words, even now, was too much for a guy like Daryl but Eden knew he was thinking them. She would know he loved her from his kiss and his touch.

Eden always thought he was easy to read, but she had known him for so long. She met him when she was fourteen and it was hard to separate them. She felt him rocking his hips into her a little, she stroked his cheek and was rather happy by what he was doing to her. And knew all to well he cared for her, it was love and lust mixed together. His kiss gave her so much as she stroked his cheek, relaxing back as much as she could. His touch was heaven to her, and thought about him hunting her down.

"mmm I know you would hunt me down, because I hunted you down and it took me months to find you" She said with a grin.

Daryl continued to massage Eden's back with one had, the other holding onto the rail. Even now his hips continued to move, milking every last second of pleasure he could from their love making. He pressed his chest against her own and sighed happily before moving back again. "I think we should get some water." He smiled, kissed her then pulled away with a disappointed groan.

Eden smiled feeling him massaging her back it felt heavenly, looking into his eyes she smiled a bit and heard what he said. When he pulled away with the groan she felt something there, perhaps disappointment but she wasn't to sure. But she nodded a little and she got dressed quickly, looking back at him she knew she was going to be just fine. She touched his cheek as she kissed him deeply, when she pulled away she looked out the window, not seeing or hearing anything what so ever. She wondered what the others would think about the song she was going to sing for them, her own dedication piece to those they have lost.

When Eden looked out the window, Daryl took that moment to grab his pants. Let no one say he didn't take his duties seriously, so they'd just have to hold their tongue they had anything to say about Eden. "You should probably go check on the others. Let them know everything's all clear so far." Despite talking shop he still pulled her in for a hungry kiss. "Okay. Now, you should probably go." He grinned, almost nervously, as he continued to hold onto her.

When Eden turned she smiled and felt his arms around her, she held him close and smiled even more. Right now it was to the point where things were just so damn wonderful, when he pulled her into the hungry kiss everything felt so wonderful. Right now things just were silent and it felt just fine, when he said what he did she nodded stroking his cheek. Her eyes promising him everything he ever wanted, since she was being honest with him.

Now she had to get ready for a funeral that was about to be beyond hard for them. She had a promise that she hoped would be accepted and cherished. But she arranged everything and with the help of the guys she buried Lori. Everyone stood around the grave and sighed a bit. Eden knew this would be hard but things had to be said, and she held up her head. Taking the responsibility since she knew Rick and his son got the letters.

"We are gathered here today to mourn the loss of a great woman, I did not have the pleasure of knowing her long. But Lori was a beloved Wife, Mother and friend. She wanted us to not mourn her but to celebrate the life she had. I know you all have lost friends, family, loved ones. But I cannot get by on life thinking nothing will change, I believe something will. I am sorry for the loss and wish I could take it back for all of you.

But all of you have given me a chance, a chance to prove myself. I know you took a risk in letting me stay here, but I hope that I am okay in your eyes. Lori loved me as a daughter she told me, she asked me to look out for everyone here. And I plan on doing it, I will do what I have to. In order to keep everyone safe and together. I promised Lori and Daryl I will not be going any place. I am here to stay till the very end when ever that maybe"

She sighed a little and looked up at everyone "I wrote a song its more of a dedication to the lives that have been lost, from some of the people who were prisoners here they helped me with it. So I guess you can say this is a dedication to those I did not have the privilege in knowing. And dedicated to those who I did know, they are not truly dead for they will always live in our hearts" She said simply, and she had her recording as she played it and began to sing.

"Na na, na na na, na na
I miss you, miss you so bad
I don't forget you, oh it's so sad
I hope you can hear me
I remember it clearly

The day you slipped away
Was the day I found it won't be the same
Oh

Na na na na na na na

I didn't get around to kiss you
Goodbye on the hand
I wish that I could see you again
I know that I can't

Oh
I hope you can hear me cause I remember it clearly

The day you slipped away
Was the day I found it won't be the same
Oh

I had my wake up
Won't you wake up
I keep asking why
And I can't take it
It wasn't fake
It happened, you passed by

Now you are gone, now you are gone
There you go, there you go
Somewhere I can't bring you back
Now you are gone, now you are gone
There you go, there you go,
Somewhere you're not coming back

The day you slipped away
Was the day I found it won't be the same no..
The day you slipped away
Was the day that I found it won't be the same oh...

Na na, na na na, na na
I miss you"

During the funeral Daryl had been quiet. While he'd always enjoyed Eden's music he didn't have a strong relationship with Lori either. He was here for support, and little more.

Carl, more than anyone, seemed the coldest and most withdrawn. The boy had too much hardness for someone so young. Rick at least showed the signs of a man holding back his feelings. Maggie and Glen just held onto Rick's yet-to-be-named daughter and watched, and waited.

When her song was finished, Rick lingered for a moment longer then nodded to Eden. "Thank you. I know we started off rough, but I appreciate what you're trying to do here." He put his hands on his hips and looked around as if accepting the defeat of this situation.

Carl looked up to Rick, then to his baby sister and started walking away, watching the ground with each step.

T-Dog waved to the group that he had Carl, and followed after the boy.

Tension started to fill the air as people started to wonder what they were supposed to do now.

Eden felt bad and it was easy to tell that she had trouble singing it, for she had lost a lot of people as well. She had tears in her eyes as she placed her hand on Rick's shoulder, the way a friend would. "I am so sorry about Lori but I promised her I would look out for you, your children and the group. She made me promise to keep her kids safe." Eden didn't know if he felt any comfort in it, since she was still new. But she watched his son and it worried her, and looked over at Rick and grew worried.

Looking at Daryl she nodded to him and ran after Carol and T-Dog, she took a short cut to get in front of the boy. Soon she was blocking him and looked at him, seeing the coldness that he now held. She grew even more sad, she collapsed onto her knees so she was his height now. She wrapped her arms around him, he fought her but she held him still. Tears fell down her face as he fought so hard then after a while stopped. Looking up at T-Dog she grew even more sad and closed her eyes.

"I am sorry about your mother, you have no idea how sorry I am. Your mother is proud of you, and so am I. Even if it doesn't mean much coming from me since you don't know me very well, but I do know how you feel. Believe me on that, I know what its like to feel trapped, to think you are all alone. You have to be strong for your father and your sister, your mother is watching over your as I am now. But I know how you feel, and it breaks my heart to feel the bitterness you have. You need to let the pain out Carol"

"His gaze, from staring through the bars has grown so weary. That it can take in nothing more, for him it is as tho there were a thousand bars. And behind the thousand bars no world. As he paces in cramped circles, over and over. His powerful strides are like a ritual dance around a center. Where a great will stands paralyzed. At times the curtains of the eye lift without a sound, and a shape enters. Slips through the tightened silence of the shoulders, reaches the heart and dies." She spoke looking at Carol.

Carl nodded when Eden had finished her poem then asked, "Did you read that somewhere?"

She smiled "If Daryl was to tell you stories about me Carl, you would see I am worthy of helping you, your father and little sister. And the others, I made the poem up last time I went to the zoo and saw the cages they were in, the panther more sad then the others. You need to be strong for your father Carol or he may just snap. There is only so much anyone can do, if one goes off the deep end then it leaves us exposed and in danger. I promised your mother that I would not let that happen to you or anyone.."

Out of all the things Carl could have taken away from what Eden had said, he smiled and asked, "So, does that mean I'm the panther?" He seemed to take great joy in being compared to a jungle cat.

Daryl had finished up with Rick and joined Eden. He paused, making sure he wasn't interrupting first, then asked her, "You wanna help me double check the supplies for a run tomorrow? "

She smiled at him and was glad he was coming around a little but it would depend. She noticed he like being compared to a powerful cat. She nodded to him "We are all animals if you think about it, your father and Daryl even T-Dog represent the lion. Strong, cunning and beautiful, but loyal and willing to die for us. So you are that panther, I understand how you feel and wish I could take away the pain, all the hurt. But I can't, its something not in my power. Think of your mother still alive within you. "

She heard Daryl and nodded to him "Now you stay with T-Dog we will be back, since its my turn to make dinner." She got up and thought "Oh and Carl give your father a message? tell him I know a natural way to feed your little sister, I know of a formula that can be made with what you have and it wont hurt her at all" She began to walk off with Daryl. "Man I hope I reached to him, I know his pain but he can't let it destroy him. But I know emotions for a child is much different then it is for us"

Carl nodded, saying he'd tell his father what she'd said.

"Man I hope I reached to him, I know his pain but he can't let it destroy him. But I know emotions for a child is much different then it is for us"

Daryl nodded, "He's tougher than he looks. He's smart too. I'm sure he'll listen." He handed Eden an AR-15 that was previously used by the guards. He let her check on it, and reminded her "We only put 10 rounds it. Don't fire them unless you have to." He then handed her one of Bowie knives, slipping the other on the sheath at his hip.

"Come on. We need to gas up the SUV first. Make sure Maggie and Glen have enough fule and room."

Eden listened to him and nodded, she looked at the gun he gave her checking it to make sure she knew how to use it, and hung it over her shoulder. But then the knife she grinned a bit, her father and even Daryl had taught her close quarter combat. But nodding to him she smiled "You know the other day you told me you were half the man your brother was? Think your a hell of a lot more then just half of what your brother was, you are much brighter then you give yourself credit for. So only one rule with being with me Daryl, never talk down about yourself. Or I may just have to kick that cute little ass out of you"

Her threat won a sly smile from Daryl, "Shit. You'll try. I ain't letting you just 'cuz you're pretty and all." He gestured for her to follow him then paused, looking around. A moment later Carl was there to open and re-lock the door behind them.

Daryl let Eden out into the night, which made the prison seem that much creepier. The mind could play tricks on the best of people in normal times, but when the dead were truly walking around in the dark it made the sounds one thinks they might have heard several times more alarming.

Saying nothing Daryl paused, letting his eyes adjust to the moonlight and then turned to nod a question a Eden. There would be very little talking from here out. When he knew she was ready he gestured along the wall and toward the fence on the far side. They would make their way to the motor pool first. With a wave Daryl asked Eden to follow and slowly stalked along the prison wall.

Eden watched him and did as he did, and when he gestured she nodded to him. She was quite, much like how a wolf was. Creeping through the night as if stalking a beautiful deer as my dinner, her eyes did not need but a second to adjust. She had learned how to get her body to react much quicker, course with her youth it wasn't that hard. Her eyes scanning the area as it all seemed that much better. Right now she heard the darkness, hearing the crickets rattling its legs as if to make a beautiful song.

But then she heard something, it was a snap of a tree twig. Just out of reflex and the need to protect Daryl, she placed her hand on his chest to stop moving. She took out her knife he gave her, and closed her eyes. Allowing everything to flow around her, her heart beating quickly as did her breath quicken. It was amazing just how much she loved moments like this, it was then she heard the snap but much closer. She spun around on her foot quickly kicking back a walker that came out of the shadows, and sank her knife into its head watching it fall dead.

The moments attracted the attention of another, who turned but Daryl threw a smaller knife at it's skull, then gestured for Eden to take out one more that was closest to her. He had confidence she would finish that one off, so he moved as quiet as a shadow to rip his blade from the fallen Walker.

In one motion the weapon was out of one skull and buried into another as effortlessly as someone putting a book back on a shelf. He elbowed the walker off his knife and turned to make sure there was nothing else moving about. He checked on Eden, smiled to see how sexy she looked as she re-killed her targets.

But now there was a bigger problem and Daryl began looking for where these stragglers might have come in from...

Eden smiled and nodded to Daryl showing she was okay and got up retrieving her blade but there was something not right. She stopped Daryl making the motion for him to stay still and make no noise. She closed her eyes and listened to the sound of everything, she could smell things around and was looking for one thing in particular. She remembered what Meriel always said about certain things. She slowly walked with her eyes closed, but listing to everything. When she opened up her eyes she stopped moving.

She motioned for him to follow her as she used her nose and kept going at it, and within five minutes she found it. No other walkers around yet and looked at Daryl "Is there anything back at the prison that we can use to close this? This is where they are coming in, so far no one around but anything can happen we all know that" She sighed a bit brushing her fingers in her hair. Closing her eyes she did not know how much more she could take, right now she just wanted to blow up.

Daryl followed Eden and checked the fence edge. He fingered a loose bolt that had allowed the geeks to push open one side, just enough to fall through one at a time. "Yeah, we got stuff, but I don't want to split up. Here." He handed her his knife and stripped off belt. Using it like a rope he re-tied the fence to the post. "That should hold for now." He then gestured toward the parked patrol vehicles, "Come on. We need to find what good fuel we can."

Eden followed him closely and nodded following him closely and came up to a car, she sucked on the tube they put in and let the gas come out that way and poured into the canister they had, her eyes looking around closely as everything felt different, and as it was right now she was worried. "Only god knows who or what is around here Daryl" She whispered to him, it was easy to tell she was very worried. But she felt confident that they could protect each other, smiling a little as she sighed.

Daryl nodded at Eden's words and looked around as she continued to fill the gas can. "Rick took us to the CDC to get some answers. They were looking for a cure to this thing, but... that didn't go so well. That's where we learned we're already infected." He paused to check Eden's reaction. "Did you know that yet? Don't matter how you die. Getting bit just turns you faster is all."

He must have realized how grim he was sounding because he smiled, "But we can beat this. Long as we got each other."
