Daryl's mood suddenly shifted, though he only leaned back a bit to look into Eden's eyes. His hands still gently held her waist and he'd yet to move from being inside of her. "How do you know?" He asked, more hopeful than upset that she hadn't said anything until now.

She looked at him and sighed a little bit thinking about everything "I know both of you so well its not even funny, he is very much alive I can feel it being the older brother he was always resourceful he isn't dead I had heard stories while I was trying to find you of a man missing a hand he made a make shift weapon to replace it and he was out for blood. " She said looking up into his eyes. "He is coming that much I do know, I thought a while ago I saw him before I found this place but it was from a distance and he didn't stop so I dunno. I just knew it was no walker I saw."

Daryl nodded, "Yeah. He was handcuffed to a roof... cut of his own hand..." Daryl shook his head, moving to look past Eden so she wouldn't see the pain in his eyes. When he could look back he studied her for a moment, listening and deciding what he should do next.

After a moment he kissed her deeply, pulling her naked body close to him and feeling her breast against his chest. Breaking the kiss he sighed as he moved to finally leave her warmth. "As much as I want to stay here, with you... we have work to do. Once Glenn and Maggie come back, I'm going to want to scout the area, see if there are any signs of a herd of walkers and maybe see if... Sighing softly she felt him move away and she sat up looking into his eyes, she knew what he wanted. Now was the time to relax and be there for him, stroking his cheek with much love.

"I will go with you Daryl and we will do what we have to do, but we will also look out for Merle. The others may not like him and he is hard to like. But he has been in my life as long as you have, and he never gave me much hell so I want to find him" She said softly and kissed him deeply, stroking his cheek. "Okay?" She said looking up at him it was truly nice to just be there for him to love him. The others may not want Merle but she wanted him just for him, she worried for him.

Daryl relaxed a bit when Eden promised to help find Merle. "Thank you. I know he can be an ass, and I get why Rick did what he did but... he's my only brother." He gave Eden a thankful kiss. "Come on, let's go see if Glen and Maggie are back."

The car had just arrived from finding what few supplies were left a truck stop. "I found some more maps of the area. Or last one was getting kind of frayed."

Daryl nodded and took the map, then looked from it to Eden forming an idea. "You know, we could scout the area and mark any herds. The last one is out of date but we can use it to track their moments." It was also an excuse to get out and track down Merle.

She smiled at him, she liked Merle he never gave her a hard time with anything and now? it was nice to be able to feel every little moment of this. It was different and now? things were going nuts. "It's okay Daryl I like Merle he always was respectful of me and I care about you and if this makes you happy then so be it we will do it" She said with a kind smile on her face, returning the kiss he had given her. Right now everything was what it would be, now? she was content.

Daryl confirmed this with Rick and got three different colored pens to go with the map before finding Eden again. "We should pack for a day's travel. Light. Go on foot. I don't supposed you got binoculars in that stash of yours." He smiled, knowing she would. If there was one thing Eden was, it was prepared.

She smiled at him it was nice to feel loved and wanted but now? Things were really looking up. Hearing what he said she chuckled."Of course babe" She said with a big grin on her face. "And I already packed some things that we may need" She said happily. And grinned a little bit the whole thing funny to her. "I'm ready when you are baby"

Daryl smirked and nodded before checking the sun. "I figure we should get some rest and head out when the sun is down. Use this to charge up a glow in the dark compass." Not that Daryl needed a compass, but if someone else was going to follow any notes he made, he'd have to use numbers to explain it to them.

He took Eden's hand and gestured back to the cell, "Come on. lets get something to eat and then sleep until sun down." his grinned widened, "And I do mean 'sleep'. We'll need our strength for the hunt."
