Alex was enjoying their leisurely stroll down the edge of the water. It's nice when Hannah is so relaxed. I could see us doing this more often. "Probably not since I was about eight" She replied, not surprising Alex. "My parents don't approve of it.. they say there are two many half naked people here" Alex let out a playful little laugh. "What, like the one next to you?" He asked jokingly, indicating himself.
"I guess they didn't want me to be corrupted" She continued. Alex sensed she was opening up with him for the first time and let her continue. "But I don't know what I want. I'm still trying to figure it all out" Well, when you decide you want to be corrupted let me knowHe joked with himself before responding seriously. "Yea, I'm sure it's tough coming from such a sheltered background." Alex rubbed his hand up and down Hannah's back comfortingly before continuing. "My only advice is to try and enjoy yourself. Do what YOU want to do because you're only in college once. After that what you can do is more limited. Believe me, I know." He said seriously, deep in thought about Hannah's situation and how difficult it must be for her to adapt to normal society after her upbringing. I wonder what it would be like growing up like that and all of a sudden being thrown into a new city, without any friends and living with someone of the opposite sex for the first time. Throw in your degree classes. Damn.
