Untapped Desire (closed)

She flipped his hand like she had every right to. Wrist in her grip, then his palm on the top of her crossed leg, brown pantyhose under his fingers, silky and warm. Her lashes dropped and lifted once. Eyes locked on his. Oops, again.

For a second he didn’t move. God, he missed being touched. Her hand on him under the table he could explain away. An accident. A selfie. This was him, actively, on her thigh. That was a line.

He gave her leg one gentle squeeze. Felt the nylon, the warmth under it. Then he drew his hand back, careful, like he was setting something down he wasn’t supposed to be holding.

“Very nice,” he said, quiet, almost a joke. “Fortunately they aren’t bare, or I’d have a much harder time behaving.”

The waitress arrived before either of them had to sit in that. He looked up at her like she’d saved him.

“Filet and shrimp for both of us. Onion soup, the works. And whatever she wants to drink.”

He offered Celeste a smile, patting the hand he’d left on her own knee, encouraging her to order a drink.

The gentle squeeze on her leg was lovely and she took a short sharp breath as she wondered why she’d unleashed. Then before she could savour it he pulls back…such a shame su thought. In her current mood that hand could if ridden a merry slide up her leg anywhere.

“Who’s to say you need to behave?” She whispered in his ear jokingly as she then looked at the waitress with a cheeky smirk.

“I’ll take Strawberry Daiquiri please and you?” she said as her hand pattered his back. She look the flavour of that drink. Sweet and elegant…just like her. What would he get?

Meanwhile under the table her ankle twister and curled with delight as her foot then slipped from its heel and slowly ran up and fine his calf.

Who’s to say you need to behave.

It landed in his ear, warm, and then she was smiling at the waitress like she hadn’t said it.

“Whiskey. Neat.” He didn’t look at the menu. “Whatever you’ve got that’s not trying too hard.”

Her hand pattered his back. Friendly. Almost. Under the table her heel came off and her foot found his calf, slow, stocking against his trouser leg, climbing.

He went still. Didn’t pull his leg away. Didn’t push into it either. He tried not to shiver. He was surprised how flirty she was being. The waitress wrote the drinks down and left, and the grill hissed as the chef started the next round for the table beside them.

Nathan looked at her once the woman was gone.

“You’re going to get us both in trouble,” he said, low. Not quite a no. The foot was still on his calf.

“You can’t handle a bit of trouble?” She asked as she shuffled in her chair. Then she wondered whether he was too into this or maybe she should slow it down a little. Her foot kept stroking though as she waited to see his next move.

“I’m sure you can handle me?” She asked playfully.

He merely smiled at her, turning away slightly, trying to pretend she hadn’t made things so explicit. He could no longer deny she was hitting on him. Flattering. He was married.

“You might be more trouble than I can handle, my dear,” he offered with a laugh, taking his glass when the waitress returned and sipping the whiskey.

The foot was still on his calf. He didn’t move it.

He was clearly uncomfortable, but she didn’t mind that. Maybe he was loyal to his wife? She detected this might be too fast for him and retracted foot. Better to play hard get now the net has been set out.

“The trouble…you’ll have to wait and see. You’ve only seen the preview.” She said cheekily as she now leant back in her seat.
