Alex saw Hannah visibly fuming as he explained that he wasn't going to appologize for last night. Yep, great plan Alex. "What's on mind?" she explodes for the first time raising her voice at him "you didn;t have to bring her back here.. and you didn't have to let her meet me.. all day she has been talking about you and I don't want to listen" she continues, her arms crossing over her chest "I pay rent here so I should get a say in what goes on too"
So, she wants to shout at me? Two can play at that game. "Look, this isn't 18fucking12 anymore. People have sex and they do it in their own homes most of the time." Alex started, his voice raising constantly as he got more and more into his rant. "And where exactly should I have taken the little slut then? One of my other 5 apartments? GREAT IDEA."
Alex paused, regaining some sembalance of control before continuing. "I'm sorry you knew her and I wasn't planning on her meeting you but FUCK. Look at you, you're scared of your own shadow. You won't go to a party, you think men are the devil, you probably haven't even TRIED a beer and you turn away somebody who is clearly trying to be your only friend. Take a good hard look at yourself, you're cute, smart and could have a GREAT time at college if you got past all this 19th century bullshit you keep sprouting off about. GROW UP!" The last part of his tirade shouted at the shocked girl beside him before jumping up and striding purposefully into the kitchen to calm down.
Alex grabbed a second beer out of the fridge and made his way back to the TV room where his roommate was still sat. Maybe that was just a LITTLE bit harsh... "Look, that was a bit much, sorry." He forced out, standing with his beer by the doorway.
