"Yea, its scary trying something for the first time." Alex replies, she slowly raises her head so that she can look at him and he seemed sincere. She was happy to know he wasn't making fun of her. The problem is I'm scared of a lot of things,

"Most of the time the thought of it is more scary than the actual action though, don't you think?" There's that look in his eyes again.. the way he looks at me.. I just can't place it

"Yes but somethings are scary for a reason" she says absentmindedly as his face closes in just a lip,her breath hitches in her throat as her lips part just a little. It's now or never

Alex decided to give his roommate a quick knock before going to bed. Softly opening up her door, he looked in on the sexy brunette. Morning comes far too quick for Hannah as she wakes glancing over at the alarm clock, realising that she is already late for college.

She bolts out of bed, stripping down and throwing on an old white summer dress which were of course accompanied by leggings to cover herself from the world. Grabbing her back she races out of the door not having time for breakfast.

College was a struggle for Hannah today! she had spent the majority of her time focusing on the kiss and the other part trying to avoid Hailey who was was wondering 'why he hasn't called'

On the way home she decides to pick up dinner as she wasn't in the mood to make it, but felt that she owed it to Alex in way of an apology.

Alex woke up late as planned and got ready before heading out to meet his boss. The whole day went well and he was able to explain the lack of sales and even gain funding for two new people to take over the territory that he had fired the guy from. It was quite a long meeting and he had traveled quite a way for the meeting so he was a bit tired when he made his way home. Cooking is the last thing I want to do right about now...

Alex's mood perked right back up again as he made his way into his apartment to the smell of Chinese Like she read my mind. He thought, calling out his arrival before making his way into the kitchen. Hannah was just finishing up setting the table when he got in. "Perfect timing Hannah, and you don't know how welcome this is today!" Alex let out happily. "Let me just put on some normal clothes and I'll be right back."

Quickly changing out of his suit and throwing on a button-up shirt and some shorts, Alex made his way back into the kitchen and sat down across from Hannah. "So, diner and movie again sexy?" He asked, giving her a little wink before reaching out for some rice.

She hears the door open and smiles a little knowing that it him wait when did I get so happy to see him? "Perfect timing Hannah, and you don't know how welcome this is today!" he tells her and her smile widens, glad that she had got it right and that he at least likes chinese food.

"Let me just put on some normal clothes and I'll be right back." Alex says before wandering off to his bedroom. While he is gone she takes the food over to the table and puts two plates on either side figuring that they can just help themselves since there was a lot of food. Hannah grabs a bottle of beer from the fridge and a bottle of water for her taking them back to the table.

She sits there waiting for him to come and join her before eating. "So, diner and movie again sexy?" he asks, the word still had the same effect on her.. her cheeks turning a dark shade of red as she squirms uncomfortably on the seat.

"The great thing about Chinese is that even if we don't finish it, the leftovers are almost as good as the fresh stuff!" Yep, Alex loved his oriental food.

Both of the roommates were absorbed in their meals but Alex couldn't help but notice the sly glances that Hannah kept giving him throughout the meal. Out of nowhere, Alex decided to broach the subject of their kiss last night. "By the way Hannah, I REALLY enjoyed last night." She smiles at him as she reaches across, putting noodles and spring rolls on her plate, quickly starting to eat. Part of her did want to watch a movie with him, but she can't have a repeat of last night or who know's what will happen!

Finally looking up at him, she does the first thing that comes into her mind, putting her hands over her ears.. to show that she wasn't going to listen. Sure it's childish but it will work...hopefully

Alex asked, still laughing slightly. "You know you can still hear me right?" He continued, the girl in front of him pretending to ignore him.

"Well, if your going to be like that, then I'll just tell you how I felt about it and when you decide you are mature enough to talk about your feelings you can come and find me." Alex started, capturing her eyes even though she still pretended to not be able to hear.

Alex was absorbed in the Panther's replay when he saw Hannah standing in the door way. She didn't stop long and Alex had only managed to turn his head to look at her before she was gone "I'm not going to kiss you again" Was all she had come to say. Well, that's a shame. Alex decided that he needed to head out for a drink. It was Friday and he didn't have to get up for work tomorrow so why not? He didn't want to go back to the bar he found Hailey in because from his experience clingers went back to the same place frequently so he selected another of his favorites. Laying back she groans as she realises how messed up the situation is so we've gone from not talking.. too talking and now we're not again. great.

As soon as her head hits the pillow she falls asleep, completly forgetting about her essay.

She wake the next morning, laying in bed for as long as she can before getting up..I'm going to make an effort with Alex today it's the least I can do!

She heads into the kitchen still dressed in her nightgown as she spots a note on the side, curiously she walks over picking it up.

"So," Alex started, "I thought we'd go and take a walk along the beach, find somewhere to grab some lunch and then set out a towel for the afternoon. How does that sound to you?" Alex just nodded as Hannah went to change. Quickly picking out a red t-shirt and some back swimming shorts, he laid them out on the bed before heading to his bathroom to jump in the shower. What do I need? Cooler of beers, towel, sunscreen, whatever Hannah wants to drink... Anything else? Jumping out of the shower, Alex brushed his teeth and shaved before heading back into his room, drying off and getting dressed. He picked up what was left of the coffee and headed into the kitchen to pack a bag for the day.

"What do you want me to take with us to drink Hannah?" He shouted out from the other side of the apartment as he packed up everything they needed. Once he had everything, he headed into the TV room to try to find Hannah.

Climbing into the passenger seat she glances over at him as they set off, and it's nice of him to take me of course, especially after the way I have treated him recently.

"We'll park up the car and go find something for lunch before getting the rest of this stuff out." Alex says.

Pleased Hannah liked the idea of his day plan, Alex set off towards the beach. It was probably close enough to walk but he didn't want to be carrying around his blanket and cooler while they had lunch so the car was neccessary. Alex had high hopes for the day as he parked up his car and stepped out into the midday sun. Great weather, Hannah in a good mood and looking better than I've ever seen her. What could go wrong? She follows him looking around still. Despite the small issue it was a lovely beach and Hannah couldn't wait to get down there.

Alex was really starting to enjoy his walk down the beach with Hannah. They were joking around together and giggling like children as they talked about anything and everything. Thankfully there was a free table for two at the fish and chips shop they got to. The couple were placed out on the deck with a lovely view over the white sandy beach.

Alex sat back and scanned the view in front of him, leaning back slightly and sighing. "Isn't this amazing? What a life." Miami in the sun, sat down with a sexy little thing out with me and a great view of the beach. "I hope you've got your swimming suit under that, the water looks great!" Alex said offhandedly as they ordered from the waiter, both of them happily enjoying their view.

"It's alright" Hannah tells Alex with a shrug of her shoulders as she turns her chair so that she can look out at the beach. I can't wait to get down there, to be on the warm sand.

They sit in silence for a few minutes before Hannah decides to speak again.

"I really enjoyed it just so you know" she states boldly before returning to her shy self "the kiss I mean. I really enjoyed it." Sure it's embarrassing to talk about but I had to tell him, it's only fair.

Alex was pleased that Hannah enjoyed the lunch. It wasn't a glitzy place but the location was great, food was good and it didn't break the bank. Both him and Hannah seemed to be drawn to the beach and their conversation died down a bit as their focus drifted. He was just finishing up his food when Hannah decided to resume their conversation "I really enjoyed it just so you know" Alex looked up from his plate and raised an eyebrow, confused at the strange comment. "the kiss I mean. I really enjoyed it." Hannah clarified before looking down. Alex's expression changed from confusion to contentment as a grin spread across his face. I THOUGHT so. She seems to be coming out of shell a bit now. "Great. It would have been a shame for it to be a one time thing." After finishing up and paying the bill (Alex's treat) the couple made their way back to the car to collect the blanket and cooler. Once they had the stuff from the car, Alex led them down to the white sandy beach and looked around for a spot. Finding quite a clear spot about half way between the boardwalk and the water, Alex threw down the blanket and proceeded to set up their gear. Once all the stuff was down, he threw off his shirt and lay down on his back, putting his hands behind his head and letting out a loud sigh. "Now THIS is the life..." He said, letting himself relax next to his roommate.

"Great. It would have been a shame for it to be a one time thing." Alex says and of course that comment embarrases her even more. hey I said that I liked it.. not that it would be happening again! but Hannah remains silent for now.

As the bill is placed down on the table, Alex pays. Hannah thought about objecting but she didn't have much money to begin with, so she just chooses to thank him for paying.

She follows him down onto the beach, enjoying the feeling of the hot sand on her feet. she feels her hand slip into her own at first this causes her to tense up, but she then relaxes. Allowing this to happen.

They stop about half way down the beach when Alex throws the blanket down and takes his top off, causing Hannah to look away and refuse to look at him. "Now THIS is the life..."

She sits down next to him, letting her trail through the fine sand the hot sun shining down on her. "I forgot how much I like the beach" she comments more to herself than to him.

"Hey do you want to go down to the beach?" she asks not waiting for an answer before standing up walking down to the water. Stopping at the edge the waves rising and falling over her feet.

Alex had his eyes closed and was enjoying the feel of the hot sun on his bare skin. I could lay here for hours... He was surprised by Hannah's comment "I forgot how much I like the beach" She said, almost to himself. Alex kept his eyes closed and replied back idly "You can get used to it sexy, you're in Miami now."

It wasn't long before Alex felt his skin heating up from the sun. I really need to get out in the sun more often. Too much work isn't good for me... "How about a little walk down the shoreline, check out the rest of the beach?" Alex says and she nods, letting him lead the way down the beach as she just enjoys the feeling of being here.

"You said you had forgotten how much you liked the beach. When was the last time you came down?" he asks eventually, pulling her outg of her thoughts.

"Probably not since I was about eight" she says simply, I think that Alex knows my life was quite... sheltered, but he really has no idea how much. If I was like my parents.. well it would be a lo harder on him than it is now.

"My parents don't approve of it.. they say there are two many half naked people here" she says, for the first time telling him something real about the past. "I guess they didn't want me to be corrupted" Hannah tells him quietly.

"But I don't know what I want" she tells him honestly "I'm still trying to figure it all out"
