RIP Jimmy Carter

He had a good heart but not enough to lead the American people. He was a weak man in the face of our enemies. he was a one term governor with no grasp of national issues. His greatest accomplishments in life came after he left the White House.

They had separate bedrooms during the first regime (she moved in, what, 18 months into his term? "Barron's education" and all that codswallop?). I think she'll live in Manhattan and Mar-a-lago.

President Carter brokered a peace agreement in the Middle East. Israel and Egypt have not increased hostilities since. YOUR weak Shitferbrains lied to you and the American public about what he and his out of his league son-in-law could deliver.

Not the 1953 incident, there was a 1980? dustup as to whether to allow the deposed Shah to come to the United States for a cancerous spleen treatment. Carter decided it was the Christian thing to do to allow the Shah to come here for surgery.

The Shah travelled here given Carter's permission, but loyalists to the Shah found one of Ayatollah Khomeni's secret police heads having dinner with President Carter's closest friend Hamilton Jordan in Washington. The Shah believed (which turned out to be true years later) that Khomeni was negotiating to have the Shah assassinated on US territory.

The Shah decided to relocate to Panama. He paid a small fortune to get Dr. Michael DeBakey (world's best cardiac surgeon) to remove his cancerous spleen. DeBakey hadn't done a splenectomy in years, fucked up the operation and left a small cancerous piece inside the Shah "by accident" and the Shah died shortly thereafter from infection.
