I was blessed and gifted with a silk scarf by the Dalai Lama when I was 3 years old. My grandfather worked for the Latvian government and was working in Tibet alongside the D.L when he had a heart attack. He requested a private meeting with my grandfather’s family. (My mother, father and I) his first assistant also attended my grandfathers state funeral.

I jumped off the roof of the elementary school when I was eleven! I grabbed the top of the (whatever) shrub it was that reached that height and stepped off.

It bent with me dangling, when I was ready, I let go and landed in another shrub.

(To get there, you had to climb the stairs and go over the brick wall to the shed where they kept yard tools. Then, climb the bricks to the roof, one more story up.)
