Republicans

That whiney assed little Ranny bastard is in the bottom 10 too. I don't see any other states with both shitbags in the outhouse.

Rand Paul adopts Trump’s ‘mafia style of doing business’ and wants ‘severe consequences’ for rogue GOP colleagues: op-ed

Aside from the culture of unwavering support for President Trump in the face of his impending Senate impeachment trial, there’s a handful of Republicans who’ve voiced support for allowing witnesses to testify against Trump. But according to POLITICO, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is making sure to keep any rogue Republicans in line.

“Paul is waging a fierce campaign to prevent the Senate from hearing witnesses in Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, vowing to force tough votes on his fellow Republicans if they break with the president or back Democrats’ demands for new evidence…Paul says if four or more of his GOP colleagues join with Democrats to entertain new witness testimony, he will make the Senate vote on subpoenaing the president’s preferred witnesses, including Hunter Biden and the whistleblower who revealed the Ukraine scandal—polarizing picks who moderate Republicans aren’t eager to call. So he has a simple message for his party: end the trial before witnesses are called,” POLITICO’s Burgess Everett reports.

Rand Paul, the other White Prick of Kentucky!:)

Trump wanted to strike down a law that prohibits companies from bribing foreign officials, calling the ban “so unfair” to American companies.

In the spring of 2017, Mr. Trump was at a briefing with Rex W. Tillerson, then the secretary of state, and aides in the Oval Office. At the mention of a bribery allegation, Mr. Trump “perked up” and told Mr. Tillerson that he wanted his help in scrapping the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

That law, enacted in 1977 and heavily enforced since around 2005, prohibits companies that operate in the United States from bribing foreign officials to obtain or retain business. It has become a major factor in corporate decision-making about operations abroad.

Mr. Trump said that it was “just so unfair that American companies aren’t allowed to pay bribes to get business overseas.”

Trump is a criminal. Trump has made it obvious that he strongly believes that he should be allowed to break the law and get away with it. If you support Trump, you're basically saying that you want to be an accomplice to Trump's crimes. There's no nice way of saying it.

Around 25 years ago some kid spray painted some graffiti in China, was prosecuted and sentenced to four months plus a caning for his crime.

Interestingly, his crime occurred in China, was prosecuted in China and the sentence carried out in China.

The reason he wasn't dealt with by the US criminal Justice system is that the US doesn't have jurisdiction in China. China does. Plus it was stupid. But mostly jurisdiction.

I remember many years ago (back when Nixon was president), the Republicans had branded themselves as the Law and Order Party.

Of course, it doesn't take a genius to see that today's Republicans are very different from those of the Nixon era. His was a party with an ideological commitment to anticommunism, law and order, and opposition to organized labor.

In Trump, the party seems to be committed not to principles, but to a man who defies the rule of law and is disorder personified. However, like their president who shamelessly turns on his friends when it suits him, his party will likely turn on him the moment he appears to threaten, rather than enhance, their election prospects. In the meantime however, they are aiding and abetting Trump in breaking law after law. The Republican Party of today will go down in history as one of the most criminal organizations in U.S. history.

Republicans deserve a total wipeout in the 2020 elections

They do.

Trump's disrespecting military heroes; engaging in widespread corruption; cavorting with a communist dictator in North Korea and a journalist-killing authoritarian in Saudi Arabia; dodging multiple allegations of sexual assault, including rape; creating horrific scenes of White House-sponsored cruelty on the border; and believing Putin over our own intelligence agencies about Russian interference in the 2016 election have all failed to dislodge one of the most unpopular presidents in recorded history.

This is because Trump promises Republicans a return to white dominance, Trump is more important to the GOP and its base than the country and the constitution they took an oath to protect and defend.

Longtime conservative scorches GOP senators over threat to treat Trump impeachment oath like a ‘joke’

In a highly critical column for the conservative Bulwark, longtime Republican stalwart Bill Kristol lashed out at GOP senators who he believes are just going through the motions of signing an oath to be fair and impartial in the impeachment trial of Donald Trump while planning to exonerate the president at the earliest possible chance.

In a column titled, “Is the Oath a Joke?” the editor-at-large for the Bulwark, along with University of Texas professor Jeffrey Tulis, questioned whether GOP lawmakers really believe in all the things they profess to believe in.

I guess it's up to John Roberts to purge the jury of those who will openly reject the oath, and disbar them from the trail. If they can not be impartial, as the Constitution demands, then their services are no longer required. They can just go home and contemplate their new vocation as Garden Gnomes.:D

It'd be interesting to see the end landscape if they started disqualifying some. The D candidates, McConnell, Graham, Paul, several others that I can't name right now. Would the balance tip?

Their lack of honesty can certainly be used against them in their next election--maybe clips put together of them taking the oath and trashing it.

Well, it's pretty obvious to everyone that the impeachment in the House was a sham, just political games as opposed to any genuine concern over wrongdoing.

It would be difficult to damn the Senate for acknowledging that fact and simply dismissing the matter.

^^ Only to the acolytes. Rational, clear thinking, responsible adults know he's guilty.

He and his supporters don't even pretend to argue against his guilt. Their current line is that crime isn't crime when the president commits it.

Mitch McConnell considering ‘kill switch’ that allows him to pull plug on Trump impeachment at any time: report

According to a report at Fox News, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is consulting with senior members of his party in an attempt to cobble to together a “kill switch” rule that would allow him to dismiss the articles of impeachment in the Senate against Donald Trump quickly after a minimum of evidence has been presented.

For the moment, McConnell is keeping the whatever rules the Senate will have to abide by secret from te Democrats, but lawmakers who appeared on the Sunday cable shows have revealed some details.

Singapore, not China.

He isn't "not guilty" because he is our President. He's "not guilty" because he didn't commit any crimes.

Well you certainly won THAT round! ROFL

I didn't see the relevance of your comment in the first place, but China has enough human rights abuses to answer for without saddling it with other countries' as well.

Who gives a shit about China's human rights transgressions? It was funny until you fucked it up.
