Yeah, those Cotton-picking Arkansans.
When we think about the next round of stimulus, we must look at how much of the first round was diverted from the people who needed the money to eat and pay rent and how much was forked over to the 1% so they could buy back shares. That money didn't recirculate to support the failing economy.

Donald Trump isn't a Republican. In effect he is the first independent President since George Washington.
How fucking DARE you compare Donnie to any caring human! He is not a patriot, or a statesman, or even a politician?
He is, however, corrupt, criminal, treasonous, a congenital liar, a sexual predator, a racist, a white supremist, a fraud, a draft dodger, a misogynist, a deadbeat, a wannabe mobster, a money launderer, a serial adulterer, a narcissist, a sadist (recently added by his niece), a sociopath, a killer . . .

The Lincoln Project has started going after Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) with a new ad that accuses her of failing in her duty to hold President Donald Trump accountable.
The ad begins by listing off prominent past Maine politicians, including former Republican Sen. Margaret Chase Smith, who famously stood up to Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-WI) in her famous “Declaration of Conscience” speech.
“Susan Collins never stands up to Donald Trump,” the ad says. “That’s why Maine is done with her weakness and excuses.”

I can't think of anything you missed .
Sen. Susan Collins’s (R-ME) re-election campaign has put out a new attack ad against Democratic opponent Sara Gideon — but it appears to have massively backfired, as many observers say it makes Gideon look good.
The ad tries to take Gideon to task for saying multiple issues will be a “top priority” for her when she goes to Washington, D.C., while claiming that none of these issues will be relevant to the citizens of Maine.
Among other things, the ad shows that Gideon has named several issues a “top priority,” including “protecting the health and safety of our families and communities,” “lowering the cost of prescription drugs,” and “building an economy that works for everyone.”
Given that the ad highlighted Gideon taking very popular positions, many Twitter users joked that it almost seemed as though Collins’s team was secretly making an ad for her opponent.
Concerned and incompetent, that's your Susan!

Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson explained in a Twitter thread that if Republicans are fearful of the retribution of their organization they should repudiate President Donald Trump.
The group posted a brutal attack video on Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), who is currently losing her Senate seat to Democratic state House Speaker Sara Gideon.
Wilson joined with other Republicans who have abandoned the party for a full attack on Trump and the Republicans who enable him.
“Everyone on the @ProjectLincoln target list had every chance in the world to repudiate Trump, stand up for America, keep their oath, and didn’t,” Tweeted Wilson. “Even today, they still could, and won’t. Buy the ticket. Take the ride.”
He went on to criticize those who privately dunk on Trump while wearing a MAGA hat.
“And anyone who believes a coterie of equivocating chickensh*ts who whinge about Trump privately but take the knee and don the Red Hat of Obedience in public are going to rebuild the GOP or conservatism after Trump drooling in his oatmeal are living in a dream world,” he tweeted.
Wilson closed by calling it part of his lesson “pain is the only teacher.”

Former Republican and Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt unleashed an attack on who he deems the “craziest and dumbest congressman.”
Speaking to MSNBC’s Joy Reid on her new show “The ReidOut,” Schmidt described the danger of Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and his impact on the movement of “mask denial.”
“Are you concerned in the Republican Party this sort of culture of no-nothingism that is setting in that will outlive Donald Trump?” asked Reid.
“Of course it will. The Republican Party is an empty and principleless organization. It’s an organized conspiracy to maintain political power for the purposes of self-interest,” Schmidt said. “I’m remiss, Joy, not congratulating you on the show, but as you were introducing the segment about Louie Gohmert, I could only think about you playing the David Attenborough role in a wildlife [documentary] — with a Gohmert picture representing America’s craziest and dumbest congressman. When I say he’s the craziest and dumbest congressman, I’m serious about that. He’s not competing in an era where there’s a lot of competition. In the era of crazy, this is like Ali, Forman, Frazier, Norman — the big heavyweights fighting each other. He’s got a lot of competition in this space.”

Vance Ginn, the chief economist for the Texas Public Policy Foundation, is facing fierce backlash for a recent racist tweet that said schools should open since most of the people dying from the coronavirus in Texas are elderly or Hispanic.
“Why not #openschools, end universal mandates, target vulnerable & check those from #Mexico?” Ginn wrote in a since-deleted tweet. He juxtaposed his tweet with a GIF of Prince Harry of Wales miming a mic drop.
He later apologized for tweeting the GIF. “It’s been brought to my attention that the gif may have been perceived as insensitive. I apologize as that was not my intention,” he tweeted.

“I would remind him, he (Mitch McConnell) refuses to go into the room when Speaker Pelosi,
Secretary Mnuchin, Chief of Staff Meadows and I sit in there,” Schumer said. “Once again,
Senator McConnell engages in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ tactics and speeches and words.
What he says is exactly the opposite of what is true.”
On Thursday, Politico reported that Democratic lawmakers became aware that Andrii Derkach, a Ukrainian lawmaker with pro-Kremlin sympathies, was trying to ship dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden to Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), because of a DHL shipping label.
“During a closed-door business meeting of the panel on Wednesday — a transcript of which was made publicly available Thursday — Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-N.Y.) pressed Nunes about news reports indicating that he was one of several GOP lawmakers who was delivered packets of information from Derkach containing allegations about Biden in December 2019,” reported Kyle Cheney. “Derkach has confirmed that he sent the packages to Nunes, as well as Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).”
“That evidence, according to committee officials, is in the form of a DHL shipping receipt that was sent to the Intelligence Committee’s majority office shortly after the package was sent to Nunes,” continued the report. “The officials say they sought to access the materials from Nunes at the time but that he never agreed to share them.”
Nunes has declined to tell reporters whether he ever actually received the package, or what, if anything, he did with it.
