Hello Rick. I was sort of wondering when our paths would cross. Lit’s not that big a place that we could be strangers forever.

You know, i'd snuggle with Ruby in a hot sec and know she feels the same toward me. But you, Rick? I'm not even sure we've been properly introduced, have we?

I don't bite, like so many here do, unless I’m directed to do so in a certain tone of voice by a someone to whom I owe my obedience. At all times, biting other people makes me, well, sorta queasy. But i do play very rough. I'm the resident masochistic submissive, Rick, a proud member of the Grammarian Police, and not one to flirt lightly. (If i flirt at all, it means i really *like* you.) Close. Actually, this one cares not; you can stop there, oh pimple on my butt. You did it, you didn't do it -- who really freakin cares? Scooby-dooby-doo.

So, Orlando's pretty much as gruesome as I thought it would be. Ten thousand theme parks (including one called "Holy Land" with a walk around Jerusalem and at 3pm every day they nail some guy to a cross -- I kid you not), and not one theatre company. Half the twon is apparently owned and supported by Disney -- they even supply police and electricity to a huge portion of the city. They truly do want to rule the world.

My brother lives in a complex next to a canal where aligators swim freely. "Oh, they can't climb up the slope, it's too steep for them." Yeah, right. That sounds like the kind of thing Realtors tell you to just shut up and buy the place. "Oh the gators are friendly, really! Have I shown you the trellis?"

But, Xmas has been wonderful. A bounty of gifts and food. Just a couple days more and I'll be home. I hope you're all enjoying the holiday. Happy Kwanza. Merry Christmas. Happy Chanuka. Happy Boxing Day. Felice Navidad. Noel. Season's Greetings.
