Remedial Parenting.

So, I have had a lovely visit with my step daughter. I was however reminded of one thing, since being in Non-Mom mode I have let my child proofing skills lapse. As I was brushing her hair in front of my mirror, she picked something up and was curiously looking at it. She holds it up and says, "What is this"

She was holding a set of (unused thank gods) Anal beads!


I quicky muttered something about it being a toy, and put them down in a basket on my dresser. She had them again a moment later... "Hey these are cool what do you do with them?"

I again took them and said, "Oh nothing really they just look kind of cool"

*blushing madly*

I dont want to be too obvious but at the same time...I was so freaked out! At least all the other toys are safely locked away in the trunk...I cant imagine trying to explain the strap on

OMG, Kitte! That's just about the funniest thing I've heard in weeks!!

My mom needed something out of my apartment recently on a weekday morning. My first thought was, sure.. no prob, mom. Just come over and I'll give you my keys.

As she was driving over, I remembered that my jelly vibe was sitting on my bathroom counter. When she showed up to get my keys, I hopped in the car with her (I had excused myself from the office for a bit due to a "personal emergency") and told her I'd ride with her. lol

I ran in, threw the vibe in a drawer, and then acted completely natural.
