Regrets about your "past"?

I recently was talking to a married woman friend
at work, and she mentioned that she regretted
not having more sexual partners prior to her
marriage.

Apparently, her husband was only her second
lover and she was starting to doubt if she truly
wanted to go through the rest of her life making
love to only this one man.

I thought her comment was curious as I believed
the need to "sow wild oats" was primarily a guy
thing. Has anyone else felt this way and, if so,
how did you resolve it?

The imagery

of "sewing oats" is certainly masculine: the "seed" being spread around randomly, wildly. But unless it means wanking, there has to be a fecund field to plough (to keep the analogy).
