Why dont they make seperate forums for each major metropolitan area? It might make the site a little more cliquey but at least meeting people in your area would be a lot easier.

Because it would mean more people have to moderate the forum and make sure nothing wrong is going up. Your looking at about 3-4 people (give or take) per new forum which could get a little out of control.

This is a world-wide board...

If Lit made a forum for every single metropolitan area in the entire world... Firstly, it would take about ten people like a month to set it all up... Secondly, all of these new forums would take up something like ten pages... And, thirdly, like RtP said... you'd need a whole hell of a lot of moderators...

If you're looking for a regional thread and can't find one in your area, start your own...
