Well?

If you had a "Trotskyite blanket warmer" as an option, I would have voted.

I don't think Cherokees wore socks, anyway.

Fuck you, Byron.

I now have "Cherokee People" stuck in my head.

Reci's good people.

can't say i think anyone has their hand jammed up her opening as far as her mouth making it appear as if she's speaking her own thoughts instead of miming their's.

she can probably knit awesome socks, though. and i wouldn't mind calling her lamb-chop....

mmmmmmm, minty

Reci is the one on the right.

This kind of rumor-mongering really hurts people and sock puppets.

What if YOU were the object of such outlandish speculation?

Byron and I may be the only two people that understand this.

Good!

*checks no*

I vote maybe because I am not going to go searching for more meaning.

Explanation for the people who are confused. My response in another thread just copied and pasted as I've already explained this four times now:

Okay.

Here we go: *rolls up sleeves*

In a thread years ago where I said that black people are capable of being bigots (LT disagreed) I said that my black brother in law might call LT the n-word.

LT then decided I made the black brother in law up and only wanted to call him the n-word.

So I had a sock puppet brother in law.

In this case:

Once-Ler had decided that a certain term - shaman - is always insulting in any context. Although it's used in other contexts. Once-Ler is of Cherokee descent.

Although shaman is admittedly considered offensive to Native Americans and I won't use that if they don't want to, the use of the word was not intended to offend Native Americans and others define themselves as such without it being insulting.

Just happens Ulaven is of Cherokee descent and he said Once-Ler was being a dumbass in insisting that any use of the word was racist. But I was the one that relayed this information and Ulaven did not post himself.

So I said "Don't accuse me of being a Cherokee sock puppeteer now!" and Byron thought it was hilarious.

Thus: Cherokee Sock Puppet.

However, my brother in law is real (and after speaking to him, he would, in fact, describe LT as described to him, by me, as that word, I checked) and my husband is real.

So although I may resemble a racist sock puppet, I am in fact...just lacking in good sense.

Tah daaaah!

If you had a "Trotskyite blanket warmer" as an option, I would have voted.
I hadn't thought of that. I would have voted for it, too.

I don't think Cherokees wore socks, anyway.
But what if they did?

Or what if they didn't, but they made puppets?

It's a metaphor.

Dig too deep, and you'll hit hardpan.

“Cherokee sock puppet” is racist. I'm putting this entire thread on report and all posters on double secret probation.
